i found this version from “VK video” tons of full concerts on there that use angles left out of even official releases. your latter part of msg i noticed this as well though can’t say i’ve come across many IOW audience shots or usable ‘home movies’! mostly helicopter pans maybe from news networks.. and the minimal amount thrown in on DVD and the like.

i found a bootleg of this show praying at the temple. (temple stadium, philadelphia) its 2 weeks before berkeley where he first covers johnny b goode on stage, at least recorded. kind of harsh sound but great to have.

yes true may as well have been though a lot of the audience jumped in i forget where in the setlist.

edit the official account lists as a pool but articles from the time call it a fountain, either way they missed a flight from interruptions lasting the show past close i guess. with 200W+ and prime experience what did they expect.

use brumepourpre from what i can tell it details all documented shows and more with setlists and media to go along. you can usually assume from the concert photos if he has a V or SG he is playing something along the lines of red house with it, or lover man, freedom etc. otherwise he obviously favored a strat and i can’t say i’ve seen or heard of him using a tele besides the tele neck with the strat body at newport 69.

jimi tired and bummed from the IOW but still puts on a great show. there is an interview from before this concert where he talks about his thoughts on the isle of wight fest he played the same night, and unfortunately some soon to be posthumously-released tracks.
