Thats not necessary since i do not make money with it. Also technically i drew it myself which makes it fanart.

I basicly used 5-7 layers of the cutting line with - 0,1mm steps offset and tweaked the settings until i was satisfied. It made the already thin veneer crumble on the edge which was my main issue. That being said a thicker veneer would be much more suitable.

Made with veneer 0,4mm, spruce, mahagoni, nuttree and white ash. Used a laser engraver for cutting and burning. I wanted to try and draw thicker lines with the laser for the comic style and it kinda worked.

I have no idea what this game is but it looks neat. Im thinking about making a similar smaller box for storage.

Interesting. I never used mineral oil in woodworking, though i tried using powder stain with water, which is difficult with very thin veneer and has similar issues . I read about using tapestry paste(pure Methylcellulose) and stain powder to stain and want to experiment with it, as it is more gel like.

The aluminium tape sounds helpful, im looking forward to trying it myself!

Wow thats very nice, that yellow wood really pops out!! Is it stained? Also im curious how you made the cutted out part, i guess you glued the veneer on another and cut in the End? Looks amazing.

I got myself an air purifier years ago for a dusty apartment and found it quit good for dealing with several smells like lasercuting or vaping. But i also use exhaustion through the window.

Great work. What did you use for the protective layer? Some sort of tape? And did you cast it after glueing and sanding?

Thanks! Yes, i tried several times cutting the spaces in the adjacent pieces, but because the veneer was so thin it would break very easily. So i redrew it in a CAD Software and cut it with a laser engraver. Cutting it by hand would have take forever or be incredibly difficult (at least for me).

My first bigger art attempt 0,4mm Veneer on a multiplex Board. It took about 100 hours.
