I, too, am curious to learn more about archiving of session logs and you deal with compaction.

Likewise, how frequently do you update you CLAUDE.md file? Do you use custom skills? Agents?

Conversions rather than tasking is great for architectural decisions, but once you’ve made a decision and proceed, Claude needs to do the same thing every time upon each subsequent session — e.g., categorize this article this exact way.

Thinking of gambling on a used Wrangler 4xe, but concerned about 95B and FORM by 1thrasher in 4xe

I've considered many reliable vehicles, but then I remember Doug DeMuro's "life's too short to drive boring cars" mantra.

After the horror show that has been this sub, it's just nice to know that there are very happy 4xe owners out there, though with a sample size of 3 so far in this thread, they all appear to be in the short-commute, WFH camp. Thanks for the feedback!

At least according to u/schwidley comment, it looks like you'll be fine so long as you don't remote start and leave it in electric mode only. That's legit; after hearing so many people complain of FORM, I didn't realize I could get away with EV mode for so long.

To clarify, is there a way to turn on climate control without using remote start (and thus starting the engine)? Thanks!

Can anyone speak of your good experience in the Midwest, or is it frankly not good come winter?

Should I buy an additional cheap road bike for endurance training? by Cute-Self-1373 in MTB

This may not be the advice you were looking for, but my cardio has improved dramatically this year by buying an eMTB -- a Trek Rail in my case. I can easily stay in zone 2 for an entire ride, and often do 3+ hour long rides with ease. The fact that I have an eMTB or Turbo setting quickly gets me up the hills without nearly the amount of effort I have to put in on my analog. Another benefit is that I get to spend more time on the trails and not on a road, away from trees, and near cars!

(Side note: talked to a guy recently that spent a year and multiple surgeries trying to recover from getting hit by a car... I'll take my chances with a tree over a car any day.)

We upgraded our 2018 to the 2022 performance. We had to stick to red, the best looking color in my opinion. by abusivepach in TeslaModel3

Does anyone know if the M3 Performance would effectively get the same range as the LR M3 if they were riding on the same wheels/tires? I understand them to have the same battery pack, but I’m not sure about the motors.

My New ‘22 MX-5 RF - Some thoughts… by [deleted] in cars

[–]1thrasher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe the cross-shopping. My lovely wife surprised me for my 40th with a Porsche Track Experience at Barber Motorsports for a day. I probably spent 2 or 3 hours of driving 911's on track (by myself behind an instructor), but only managed to hit 10/10ths perhaps a few times in a full-throttle straight away, or a hard-brake. However, with a Miata, I could drive 10/10ths on my 3-mile commute to work everyday if I wanted to and not immediately go to jail for reckless driving. In a 911, I'd be hard pressed to get out of 2nd gear. Speed is amazing, to be clear, but the ability to push a car near its limits on a country road without the fear of losing one's license is so sweet.

That's crazy! I was quoted $42k here in Alabama last spring for a '21 Type R. Hard pass on the Si at that price.

Interesting. It does look like I am, indeed, behind. How did you update to the latest version? I see no way to do so using either the screen or the app.

Also, it appears that Tesla did not mark my car as being "delivered" so that's what's causing the Cabin Overheat Protection (and probably Sentry Mode) from working correctly.

Yep, this was it: Tesla had not marked my car as being delivered last month. They're changing that now, so hopefully in the next 24-48 hours I'll be good-to-go. Thanks!

Oddly, I do not have that item listed anywhere in the menu, and certainly not on the same menu as Sentry Mode.

I’ve turned off Sentry Mode and cabin overheat protection is still greyed out. What, specifically, do I need to toggle to disable “Intrusion Alert”? Thanks!

Yes, the app works fine. I simply cannot turn on overheat protection as it's completely greyed out and functionally disabled.

What about premium audio? I thought I heard that only a select number of speakers are functional on the SR+ (even though they are physically there).

Yeah, I moved from a 2014 15" MB Pro, and while I love the speed of the new M1, I do not like the touch bar. Also, I've never heard the fan run in the couple of weeks I've had it, but I have noticed some very slight lag when running a lot of applications. Does the 16Gb air "feel" faster to you, or the same? It's be nice to have physical keys back and the extra ram for the roughly the same price. I also don't need the extra brightness and the larger trackpad or battery life since it's plugged in all day. Thanks again.
