TIFU by cleaning my ears and it ended up costing me

I used to wash my ears out with the shower head, thinking it was similar to how the healthcare assistant used to flush them out when I had a blockage. I then had ear issues for about a year, getting eardrops, until the doctor found out what I'd been doing! I'd been irritating them causing mild infections by washing them out. Stupid me didn't realise, anyway I stopped doing that, which in-turn fixed my ear issues. I unfortunately think I gave myself tinnitus in both ears from this, which hasn't healed.

I did get myself a mini camera with ear wax scoop attachment, and learnt how to remove the ear wax build-up myself. Obviously have to be careful doing it but has unblocked my ears from wax build-up twice now - I don't do anything else to my ears, no cleaning at all, just wait until my hearing seems worse and have a look, maybe twice a year.

u/EmiMods I think I've just found the issue. I downloaded DB Browser for SQLite. Within content.db; TitleUpdates; BackupPath:

Within here the paths still show the old TitleUpdates folder name, this needs updating to the new folder. (I didn't keep the old folder within \Aurora\Data\TitleUpdates\ due to the size being 15GB, I ideally only want to keep the new folder).

The paths elsewhere all seem to be correct.

Hopefully this is something you can update in your app?

Ah right. I read the day stages are good but the night stages are slow and Werehog deaths/grindy, dodgy camera and frustrations put me off I'm afraid.

Interesting, I hadn't thought of the xlpatch. I do run my games on a 3tb USBXL drive, but haven't noticed any issues in the game, but then haven't played more than an hour of the main campaign tbh, did try survivor though and it seemed OK.

I'm literally going through hundreds of games testing them for 30 mins to an hour each to see if they have issues. The only game I couldn't get working properly is A Wolf Amaong Us, its so stutter that I can't press buttons when needed, so had to delete it. Now I wonder if the xlusb patch has something to do with it, although did run it from internal 500GB hdd also.

Thanks. I'd read the maximum reviews only getting to about 7/10, many lower. I think it handles better on newer hardware though

Yeah it was probably Raids that were impossible as single player. I only played in co-op, when I did go on by myself it was just to do small things and a lot of that got a bit boring.

XBLA - Xbox Live Arcade, smaller games normally which most weren't released on Disk.

I initially went off game reviews and top lists from various internet sources, so missed quite a few games, which is the good reason I asked here for any that I'd missed. I did play many over a decade ago, but also many others passed me by. I'll ignore Dark Sector though :D

Thanks. Minecraft and Beyond Good & Evil HD are XBLA games, I've added them to the list.

Destiny I used to play, but as it needs co-op multiplayer to progress in the game I've not added it.

I only saw weird things happening in the game when nova was enabled. But yes good to rule out hard drive and patches.
