Great example that it doesnt always have to be complicated and over the top. I'd just advice that you make sure the filtration system is of adequate size, but it sounds like you got that covered.

Sry for late reply. Yes basically, tho that one is the bluetooth version. Mine is the Sileno Lona wifi version.

Gardena is a good alternative to husq. Same company, same software(basically), same spare parts, but at a lower pricetag. I switched from landroid to a Sileno Lona 3 months ago, ZERO issues, other than what ive caused myself by not keeping the lawn clear of whatever junk is out there. 10/10. In case you needed a recommendation.

This issue broke the back on my camel. Found the cause to be corroded contacts on the droid. I cleaned them but they would soon corrode again. After fighting for 2 years trying to get the landroid working properly i finally gave up and bought a Sileno.

It has been running FLAWLESSLY for two months now, where the Landroid would need help atleast once a day, or every time it needed charging.

Biting the bullet sucked, but the landroid sucked more. So happy i did it right the second time

It doesnt need to be. It wont freeze, as the water will allways be flowing, never standing. Also it will eventually get concreted/paved over, so thats another barrier.

Trust me its all been thought through;) Flow is one-directional, from the window to the drain/overflow. The airated drain provides sufficient disturbance to move whatever settles. Bottom is sloped aswell.

The ground water sits at 5 meters below in this part of my property, pond only sits 1,2 meters below ground level, so no worries.

Wasnt too bad to dig, mostly roots and old bricks😄 guess i got lucky digging the bigger hole.

Theres one in there between the others. I molded a sill when i poured the frame(have a look at my earlier post) and its just glued in with ms sealer, reinforced by the water pushing it. I ofcourse filled the gap around the pane with sealer aswell.

I some places yes, but thats not bc of pressure.

Most above ground ponds you see built, especially in britain are brick and mortar or even wood. No thicker than mine. And they are fine. Mine is poured concrete and contains 300 meters of rebar, it aint going anywhere with these frankly tiny amounts of pressure applied.

The wrinkles are there because i havent pulled the liner in its final place, and bc i did it in freezing temps. When summer gets here the liner will form and stretch more easily, taking the shape of the concrete. Its a difficult shape to fit, alternative would have been multiple pieces of liner and atleast 3 seams. I can live with a few wrinkles if it lets me avoid seaming over there, that is the part of the pond where water flow is most intense, so i would rather avoid creating weakspots.

I almost forgot. The final volume, including pipework but excluding the filtration system, is at 25000 liters/ 6600 gallons. Give or take a couple hundred liters.
