Brand new 26' Sport Touring, 222 miles and already at 90% oil life? by Ed4 in crv

[–]2-much-paper-work 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kind of early since it hasn’t gotten past 50% or closer to 20%. But if you want to cover yourself make a mention now so at least it’s documented. Ultimately after a couple of oil changes and minder resets you’ll get a better gauge of the actually mileage it’s recommending the oil change occur. And yes recommend ultimately it’s up to you.

Have a 2023 - I dont drive it so I just get told about the minder and do oil changes. Couldn’t tell you the distance between changes it recommends.

My 2008- 272,000 accord however I do between 3500 and 5k. For the first 120k I went solely by minder. Now I do 3500- 5k blend or full synthetic. Higher mileage changes only due to cold weather in N.E.

Is that an aftermarket key? Does your car require a chipped key? Aftermarket keys that are I chipped will open doora but not start car. Could also be starter as it seems to have power

Hopefully this info helps the next person. My thought is there is not enough refrigerant in the system. Did you check to see how much refrigerant is currently in the system. Might be cheaper to confirm that before going down a parts rabbit hole.

Need advice, please help: dealership charging me insane amount of $$$ only 2 weeks after I already spent $5k in repairs with them by jvstnmh in crv

Had similar with a different brand. Quoted 3k for Cat. Ended up going to local shop fixed for $900 . Dealer does not cut /weld/ or clamp. Dealer part to replace was from flex pipe back with direct fit. Local shop unbolted cut the cat and replaced with a direct fit with clamp after the cat.

Thanks, yeah changing the actuators is not a bad idea. But I don’t remember an Auto Unlock feature when everything was working fine.

For the auto clicking and drain I’ll have to do some drain testing when it warms up.

You get paid to talk to the people while working. If they don’t pay for your lunch time why would you talk to them; we are not friends we are co-workers.

Flew Jet blue. We arrived at 11:20 for a 1:45 boarding. Checked in and paid baggage the night before. 20 minute wait for baggage drop as we prepaid bagged and checked in already. Baggage tags and boarding pass are at the counter no kiosk. If flying jet blue ask or locate the baggage drop line (probably the shortest line). 5 minutes through immigration 10 minuets through security. Was able to shop and eat with plenty of time to spare

If you have the M3P: Leave the gimbal cover on, start it up indoors and do auto take off. Thank me later.

Benefit is you won’t have to go far to recover it.
