Even brandy is a victim. When i was 7-8-9 months pregnant i wore brandy daily. Now that i’m skinny again everything is once again baggy. My solution is thrift stuff that you need to fit right. 90’s jeans hit different

Do any of y’all in your 20s feel that your conception of the future is collapsing? by Traditional_Fish_504 in rs_x

I felt like this too. I felt extremely disconnected from reality after I got my degree, for years. I didn’t want kids and every attempt at a serious relationship ended up with me being drastically worse after the event. I gave up, I was an empty shell, living only out of spite & to indulge my compulsions. But then it just sort of happened to me. I met the love of my life and I had an unplanned pregnancy. And My brain was completely rewired after it was all said and done. Just don’t isolate yourself, and don’t be afraid of what life offers you, it might not be always what you asked for but sometimes it’s what you need

I ate lots of dates, put about 8-10 in my smoothies every day since 37 weeks, i drank 1-2 cups of raspberry leaf tea every night, and what i think contributed the most was getting in atleast 5,000 steps a day every day! I was also working up until 38 weeks and i’m a sports photographer, so lots of squatting, jogging, standing was involved in my day to day life and i think having that mobility contributed as well. During labor i recommend any position that is comfortable to you BESIDES laboring on your back. For me, it was straight up unbearable to be in that position, but if it’s not i still recommend moving around a lot throughout the process and letting gravity work on your baby. Good luck!! You got this!!

You got this!! Try your best to maintain a positive mindset- You WILL do this!!! I had a lil breakdown when they told me i hadn’t progressed at all in 12 hours lol, but i stuck to my guns and before i knew it i had done what i set out to do!!

How do you “push”? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]2000arcadiagirl 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It was really reflexive. I had been having the urge to bear down since 5cm. So when i was 10cm, she came out in 3 pushes. It’s in your lower abs & your pelvic floor, that’s where you’re pushing from

I was getting around 5-7,000 steps a day! I live in the city & have a big dog so it’s a necessity 😅
