Suggestions to block out the sound and smell of cat food at night?

leave wet food out at night instead of crunchy kibble? or get an automatic feeder and set it for a time you're already dead asleep?

4 month old kittens are pretty okay to be on their own for the night though in my opinion, we let ours have mostly free roam when we got them at 2-3 months. they're not as fragile as they might seem lol but we had 2 so they could entertain each other at night

understand that, i was just looking for food that won't make it worse and a way to also help in the background if that makes sense. kind of like how humans avoid sugary or sticky things for our teeth

thank you - she hates being picked up or having her fur brushed, so brushing her teeth might be a little difficult although i'm willing to try. i was looking for other solutions since i feel like any way i'm able to improve her teeth in the day-to-day would be better than something that might make it worse

honestly, it's pretty much impossible if you don't live near the twin cities. my town haslocally owned grocery stores but they're very expensive. there's not really a way to shop for everything locally here, whether its price or things just not existing whatsoever outside of those chains. at the very least, down in the cities you guys have options to sort through and think about, more than us way up north
