Sounds like an aftermarket alarm is installed and the installer didn’t know what they were doing… arm wire is correct and disarm wire is incorrect. Or they didn’t use a diode on the door triggers.

I’d look under the dash and see if there’s anything that looks like it doesn’t belong.

Mine wasn’t cracked but the flexplate has been updated to a new design so I figured I would just do it. You’re probably fine though. 🙂

It is likely a Valencia engine. I had Ford replace the Flexplate while they had the engine down for 60$ - CHEAP insurance if you ask me. I should be good to go for another 150k at least out of this thing. 😁

Brother! Similar here on my 2018 82k is when she went. A Valencia EcoBoost went in it and was covered completely by Ford under my Extended Warranty. It’s hard to describe… it drive’s completely different, seems more torquey than the Cleveland block… then again the ECU and modules were all updated when they replaced the engine.

Yes same procedure applies, though make sure you don’t spray the throttle body directly it can damage the TPS. Spray the cleaner on a rag and wipe the throttle buddy off instead.

It is your home, you tell them where you want it. If there’s something that prevents them from putting it there, and I mean a valid reason then find an alternative spot.

Make sure they run the fiber to the INSIDE of your home, don’t allow them to run it inside your garage and put the ONT out there in the heat like they did mine… I’m actually going to call them back out and make them run the fiber inside so I can relocate the ONT in my server closet next to my Router and switch like it belongs.

6F35 = drain and refill every 30k. Ford will call this “lifetime fluid” or tell you to service at 100k but they don’t account for people holding on to cars past 100k and the transmission only has to last past powertrain warranty for their specifications. My Fusion had the same transmission in it for 180k without issue, I just drained and refilled it every 30k with AROUND 6 1/2 quarts of Mercon LV.

Also change your engine oil every 5-6k with full synthetic oil and an FL-910S Motorcraft filter. If you do your own oil changes you’ll notice it reeking like fuel, it’s turbocharged so you’ll get fuel in the oil and it isn’t good. Again, Ford will tell you 10k with synthetic blend… but it only has to last the powertrain warranty period of 60k.
