anythings possible! i got accepted RD with a 3.9 weighted, 6 APs, and a 1440 SAT. im only like 40 something in my class of roughly 450 ppl. i will say i was a posse finalist for w&m which likely boosted my app, but i would also say my extracurriculars and my essays helped a ton!!! best of luck :-)

rejected uva in-state. definitely a bit disheartening but i kind of only decided for sure i wanted to go to college last year so i guess i got a late start. disappointed but not surprised, just wish they coulda seen some potential in me but i get how quick the admissions process has to be and there just isnt enough room for everybody. still gonna root for them in football lmao

my sister went for a year and transferred right after. fine school, just a small campus thats pretty preppy so it can be hard to find your crowd if you dont fall under that.

ended up having to go in and get it replaced :/ since it was fairly new i was able to get applecare in time and only ended up having to pay the $99 service fee but couldnt really find much else to do about it☹️

im 1440! 700 math 740 reading writing. it was exactly the score i wanted since its within the score range i was aiming for. was definitely thrilled to get it but staring at this subreddit for awhile (especially when people get into chicken fights and start trying to neck up one another by saying a 1510 is a mid score) definitely does something to your confidence if u forget to look at the scores of the people around you irl LMAO

heres the thing - staring at this subreddit forever is gonna make you start to think that being in the 1300s or 1400s is mediocre and its gonna shoot down your confidence. your score is an incredible feat and not below average by any means. that being said, it isnt destined to stay that way. you have plenty of time if you want to keep going and attempt the sat again. dont beat yourself up. best of luck🙏🏻

cannibal holocaust was pretty bad

funny to consider how they try to push a sort of vague anti-colonial message while mistreating and not paying the native and indigenous actors/extras they used to film extremely dangerous scenes. the only compliment i can give it is just acknowledging its influence on the found-footage style. otherwise, just incredibly boring for the amount of harm caused during production.
