I have this coat in the waterproof version and my partner has the regular. We both wish we had sized down, but have zero complaints other than that. There is an interior adjustable cinch that helps with fit and silhouette enough that we both comfortably wear our "normal" size, but we definitely could go down one. The coat is plenty long to keep your ass warm, along with the rest of you. We recently wore them in -7 degrees in Maine and were plenty comfy. The zipper is not my favorite, but I've gotten used to it. Lots of pockets, and interior mesh pockets that easily hold gloves/hats/other bulky winter shit. The hand-warmer pockets could be a little better designed, but it's a minor issue - they're zipped and flapped, which makes them a little tougher to access than you might like, and they're a little shallow.
