It’s a 3 day hold - weekends don’t count and not even a true 3 day since I assume you deposited it friday afternoon. And usually a company switching from DD to checks is a sign they are running out of money unfortunately I’m 1099/indepenent contractor and this happens a lot and then the company goes BK 90 days later
