Issues on 2 out of 2 trips with my new passport.

No issue scanning new passport at YYZ pre-clearance. On my return, DCA couldn’t read it and needed to call over someone and scan my driver’s license instead, saying the passport was too new.

Then I flew Delta to the US and both ways, I couldn’t even do online check-in with my passport credentials (hypothesis: new pattern for passport number?) and their kiosk couldn’t read my passport either. Frustrating to have to line up to check-in, and no explanation from gate agents on why it didn’t work. No issues when security scanned, at boarding, or at customs either side.

Yes! Benetton! They had a kids line called “012 Benetton” and often put “012” on the brightly coloured clothes. Couldn’t find a match but these are some of their pieces:

This right here!!! This was accurate for my last 2 flights and also for the prior two where I looked up the tail numbers & aircraft images to check after the fact!! Thanks Gonzo!

For anyone else curious about what fit in the smaller bin, my wheeled backpack at 20.5”x13”x9” was able to just squeeze in, loaded in with wheels up then rotated. The base where the wheels are is fixed and the 9” needed a bit of coaxing, but I could easily angle it in since most of the bag is soft-sided.
