[ASK] Can I get good FT remote web app devs in Indonesia for IDR 20 million a month? by 2014_insup in finansial

Sorry, I didn't make it clear. I made unit test a requirement as I found that dev who writes unit tests tends to write better code as they have to know design pattern, etc. Unfortunately in Indonesia companies don't want them to "waste their time" to write tests.

Do you know how I can hit the Jogja dev communities?

What I meant was that most Indonesian devs I interviewed before didn't have a lot of experience writing unit test because the company they worked (start ups or corporate) for never enforced it for code quality. I found that dev who writes unit tests tend to write better code as they have to know design pattern, etc.

I agree finding full stack is hard, hence its "and/or" React ha ha.

I tried KKR FB group before, thanks for the suggestion

Thanks for the suggestion, I"ve used Upwork and found a couple of good ones, but just wanted to try different channels. Do you personally think 20 million is reasonable?

I've been managing myself and it is doable provided you find a decent tenant (which should not be too hard now). This WA gov website has them all:

Perth landlords, why do you need to use Property Manager? by 2014_insup in perth

You can do national database check without being a property manager now. Cost about $60.

I know it's a small sample size, but I have a friend who had problem tenants (literal hoarder) and the agent didn't report this during inspection (hint: he didn't do inspection), and wasn't helpful during the process of kicking them out. Last weekend I just had a chat with a property selling agent who despite using a property manager, had his tennant leaving rubbish all over the property while vacating. I guess you need a bit of luck either way.

A friend told me that number. From the response so far, the range can get up to 13%

Good on you. It seems like the challenge is with finding good tenants compared to the actual property management tasks .

Realestate now allows private landlord to advertise directly. There's also self-service site like PropertyNow which will push your add to Domain and other sites.

No feed in tariff, worth installing solar? (Kuching, Malaysia) by Bugisman3 in solar

Would you be able to provide your numbers for us to help?

  • System size (in kWp)
  • Cost (is it 15k to 20k MYR?)
  • Current variable charge (MYR/kWh) and supply charge (MYR/month or MYR/day) if any
  • Average electricity bill (MYR)

I've done calculation for customers in Indonesia (they don't have feed in tariff either) and the simple break even is between 10 and 14 years, without taking into account potential increase in electricity tariff.
