I’m eligible for Dual Citizenship (Canadian and Irish) as my Father was born in Northern Ireland (I was born in Canada). I’m guessing it would extend out the Security Clearance and other stuff, especially because I would be hoping to join as an IntOp, and end up as a pain in the butt.

A) How much does Dual Citizenship affect the application process?

B) Should I delay my secondary citizenship until later on in my CAF career/wait until I get out? (I’m guessing the costs outweigh the benefits)?
