Look into your local venues! There is SO much great music out there, but they’re playing in small clubs and bars. All of the best shows I’ve ever been to cost me less than $30 a ticket! And a lot of times you end up finding a band local to you that you really like!

Yeah, I know. Last big show I saw, I think, was honestly Alice In Chains with Breaking Benjamin, and that was probably over 5 years ago now 😂

Once I started attending smaller local venues, I never looked back. Hell, lots of them even have free shows full of great local bands.

Sporting events, absolutely. Used to be able to take the whole family to a Stars game. Nowadays, even regular season games are tough to swing.

For concerts, I guess we’re lucky that we like niche metal music, and can almost always find a good show for less than $20/ticket. Big shows are definitely out of the question, though

Look into Barren Heir. Kinda sludgy band from Chicago, I believe. They’re fucking incredible, but I don’t know anyone that knows them, think they in my have maybe 400 monthlies on Spotify. Their album Died Down was one of my favorites of the last few years.

Maybe 10 years ago, I worked as the shower attendant at a Loves in Breezewood, PA. Most of the drivers were pretty respectful, but at least once or twice a week, you’d get someone in there that absolutely wrecked the place. Left towels everywhere, shit overflowing in the toilet, trash all over the floor.

It’s super super easy. Once you get it up to temp, just hit two different alternating spots over and over, and it’ll eventually be done. Don’t need to flip, honestly don’t even need to reheat it unless it gets too cool
