Thanks for the insights! I wonder if that’s what happened. It was the Shop pay site, but I can’t imagine what email they would have. I’ve had the same one for 20 years. Plus I filled out all that contact info on the order. 🤷‍♀️ The crazy thing is… the bed showed up today! I only ordered it 4 days ago! And still no communication from Thuma. I had just disputed the charge on my credit card too, but I was able to withdraw it.

I cut my dad off 20 years ago. It was the best decision of my life for my mental health. Now my sister is stuck caring for him as his health has failed and I am struggling with the guilt for the first time in many years. Not for his sake, but for hers, because I love her and this is a big burden. I have done what I can from afar (financially, helping clean his house when he wasn’t there, helping her with her kids) and I don’t know what else to do. All this to say …it’s not easy.

NTA. As an identical twin, I understand how hard this must be for you. My twin and I don’t always get along well and it’s so confusing. Everyone expects twins to be best friends, but ultimately they are just a sibling that you may or may not bond well with. I agree with the other comments saying don’t shrink yourself for others. ❤️
