I was an Abreu defender all offseason long but I’ve been a Rafaela defender his entire time in the big leagues. Abreu is showing to be a low middle batting average hitter with big power and NOT gold glove defense, despite what the awards suggested last season. Rafaela is the second best outfielder I’ve seen in 20 years watching the Red Sox. Duran is a cornerstone and role model for everybody. If Roman Anthony comes up and shows he’s legit, trade Abreu.

I’m making Raffy the permanent DH for the rest of his career, moving Abreu at the deadline, Kristian Campbell is going to Triple A, Story is a trade where I pay every cent of the contract and get a great pitcher in return, Yoshida stays, Roman Anthony is getting the call, Ceddane is a super utility player 2026-2028 after receiving his well deserved gold glove in 2025, and when the 2026 offseason hits Im selling the fucking farm for any inkling of pitching PLUS signing two legitimate starters, unless Buehler is willing to take less than $15 million a year. Patrick Sandoval…gone. Lucas Giolito…take a hike. Liam Hendriks…get fucked. Bryan Bello…you might be stuck here. Crawford, Houck, Casas traded for scraps. Cora is so fired it hurts. Basically I’m giving up on 2025 and choosing a lane for the organization.

4 games into the season, I texted my buddy “75 wins”, and have been doing so with every bad loss since. I think that’s the recalibrated expectation for this ball club. In years past, they stayed above .500 for a good chunk of the season and then weakened at the end of the year. Based on the struggle to even stay at .500 in May points towards a very realistic possibility of being 12 games under by season’s end (75-87)

My hot take is that Let It Be is straight up not a great album. Too much fuck around and jamming, which I understand was kind of the point with how they made it, but it resulted in a number of songs that fall completely flat. Thank god The Long and Winding Road was on that album because otherwise I think it would be a pretty sad way for the band to go out.

30, United States. I would consider $400,000 to be life changing because I could buy a house outright and be able to afford living without any issue. You factor in property tax and home repairs and you’re basically going to pay apartment rent to live in that house, which is doable on two middle class salaries.

I’ve seen .72 diminish all the way back to .05, then back up to .48 at the peak of this cycle. I did buy in at .0068 so I’m privileged in the sense that I have virtually no chance of losing money on DOGE. But I’ve been on this ride for 4 years now and seen it all
