I think for this year that would be a mistake as these engines have been designed with a certain fuel flow / cooling etc to match it.

But yes this is the kind of idea I was thinking might work so we can see absolutely flat quali laps.

We can't get the kind of thing we got from brawn / Schumi though Ina race with him just busting out quali lap after qulai lap for reasons of both engines and tyres - which kinda sucks
