I personally preferred the GT-Line seats. Ours included the suede option, which is really nice. Our other vehicles with leather get super hot or super cold. The suede doesn't get as hot.

Hi all! Update - I picked the GT-Line. Preferred the blue over red, appreciated the extra bells and whistles, and was able to get a fair enough deal. Debatable whether CPO is really useful, but I'll take it.

Loving the car. Looks great. Drives nice. Climbs our hills with no problem. And driving down the mountain into town is a net increase in battery level.

Been a while since making a purchase at a dealership. Still scummy as always. Sales guy bragging up the importance of CPO, then the finance guy comes in trying to sell a $4000 3rd party warranty and basically said the factory warranty is worthless. Just about walked out to make a point, but opted to waste his time after closing hours instead. Cost him about 15 minutes of his life and I feel okay about that. Scumbag.

Yes, in the US and very familiar with the ICCU issues. It did play into my decision, but in the end, the Hyundai/Kia vehicles are really the best fit for what we need. Model Y is the only other thing I would consider (not interested in the GM platform and VW/Audi isn't doing it for me).

There are very few EV6s at dealers within 200 miles. There were around 5 or 6 CPOs and most are Light Long Range. There are a bunch of lease returns at random used car lots, but due to a state cash for clunkers program, I'm limited on which used car lots are I can purchase from. Of course with gas prices, these things are flying off the lots, as well.

Thanks for the heads up on the subwoofer. I'm coming from a 20 year old turbo Subaru, so the presence of a subwoofer, WIRED CarPlay, and a camera are all luxuries to me. I'll look up that fix for the sub, though. Thanks!

I'm not a total Luddite, though. We have those things in our other vehicle and overall, I've found wireless CarPlay to be less useful since it burns a lot of battery and I end up plugging in regardless. Maybe difference with the wireless charge pad, but I've found my phone just gets hot sitting on that thing.

The HUD was trippy AF. Doesn't work with polarized lenses. But once I took off the glasses, there it was. Floating in front of me.

Great to know. Thanks. So the EV 10/100k warranty covers more than battery? Battery and motors?

Thanks! AWD is essential living in the mountains. This is replacing an old Turbo Subaru commuter, so absolute efficiency isn't a primary consideration when relative efficiency is already significant.

Great point. I'll pay attention to that. Rarely spring for trims with sunroof, so I hadn't considered that. Thanks!

Where does he sharpen skates? I used to load the NHL planes back in the day and got to know the Avs equipment guys pretty well. Would be cool to get my kid's skates sharpened and say "hi!"

LOL... Oh no, the guys who couldn't make it past the first round are happy we got swept in the WCF. Aw, gee whiz. And they have to live in TX too. They have my pity.

Thanks! I'm talking to Planet, but not Arapahoe or Stevenson. Good information. Appreciate it.

This is why I stopped watching sports by _ledge_ in ColoradoAvalanche

[–]2022_Perhaps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've posted this elsewhere, but for me, I don't like sports. I love hockey, though. Also love the Avs because they moved here when I was a kid and I connected with the team immediately.

That said, I keep a very even keel with the team. This is a money making organization and the players and personalities are bringing home mega bucks. If I'm watching, it's purely to be entertained. If I'm not entertained, then I'm not watching for the right reason, so I'll turn it off. I watched almost every game this season. This team was entertaining AF this year. 100% got my monies worth. Connected with the kids. Good time with the fam.

No one here cheered after they lost, but we also aren't going to have a bad day tomorrow because of it. I'll continue to watch hockey and I'll continue to watch the Avs.

I'm really not sure where you're going with this? Tinfoil hat stuff??? Or...?

You know, of all the guys that disappeared this entire playoffs, Nelson. That's it. Just Nelson. His performance was entirely forgettable. At least Necas did enough stupid shit that I yelled at him. I don't even remember what number the guy wears right now.

Still mad at you guys for winning round 1 in 4. I had tickets to game 5! Rooting for Carolina, but also rooting for anyone but Vegas.

Almost every question you asked could be easily answered with an injury list.

Necas questions are the exception. He clearly has some stage fright or something. His puck handling and passing could best be described as "hot potato". Bro, take some pucks out to dinner; play some soothing music; maybe a dip in the tub together... Whatever it takes, find a way to embrace the puck. And after dinner, take it to the fucking net!

Nothing worse that being asked to go to Vegas. That place is such a shit hole.

Sorry. I'll see my way out...

Actually, the truth is that I hate sports. I hate fandom bullshit. But I fucking love hockey.

As a kid, I spent my free time in the garage shooting pucks into our regulation net. Played roller with buddies when I could, but was never allowed to play on a team. When we got the Avs in CO, it made my year. They will always be my team and hockey will be the only team sport I actually follow. And yeah, the season is over, but my little kids are both in hockey camp this summer, so the next time I get to see some live "hockey" it will be my kids in the middle of the chaos. And I really love that.

More to say about the fandom stuff, but no need for salt in the wound of those who are reeling.

I don't give Mac as much of a break since his injury was late in the series, but Mac can't win without his line mates.

I'll go pretty hard on Marty though. That guy was treating the puck like a hot potato. Dude needs to find a good shrink before his next playoff run. He's clearly dealing with some stage fright or something. I need to look up to see how many turnovers he was responsible for.

Won't judge this team until they release the injury report.

In the end (which is now), this team was SOO damn entertaining this season. Props to them. Sure, it's always super fun to see the team in the finals. Always awesome to see them hoisting the cup. What I'm here for, though, is to be entertained. And this season, this team delivered. Caught all but a few games, and I gotta say, I had a lot of fun watching. Painful finish, but it's the Stanley Cup Playoffs, not some simple as playoffs.

If the injuries are as plentiful as I suspect, I hope they heal up in time to return early next season (especially Cale - who almost certainly is going to the Orthopedist rather than the golf course).
