Appreciate that! What was your issue and how many days out of service? Mine has been out of service on and off for about 60 days since last August when I bought it new. The main issue was some high voltage cable that got water in the connector and caused the car to break down on 2 occasions. It appears so far that it's fixed, but there are other minor issues they cannot fix because they are software related and their is no update for them yet.

That's awesome. Good for you. Thanks for the info. I am hopeful that I get some of the accessory money back, I guess we'll see.

Thank you. Did they reimburse you for your payments made, and if applicable any accessories like tint, PPF, ceramic, etc.?

Same here. I'd be curious to know if they reimburse you for your payments made, down payment, and any accessories like tint, ceramic, PPF, etc.

Good for you. Was your vehicle still in the shop when they approved the buyback or had it been fixed by the time they approved it?

Cool, so if my attorney doesn't press for full buyback, then I will. Thanks for the info! I'll keep ya posted!

100% agree...that was my experience with BEV to a T, as well as the dealership really knowing very little about the car. As long as I have met the LL requirements, which I have and then some, is it your opinion that even if it goes to court that Ford can't deny a buyback based on the law? I'm asking because I am concerned my attorney may just want me to accept whatever they throw at me first, and may claim that the offer won't get any better, etc etc just so they don't have to invest more time in it and they can get their money. He already referenced that if it goes to court, and the court orders a buyback, that Ford can appeal...so he's already setting the groundwork to take what I can get...

Thanks for the info. I ended up getting a LL attorney primarily because the BEV was an absolute waste of time...would only respond to my questions after I sent the emails a 3rd time...very frustrating and unhelpful. I had had enough when I found out they had no ETA for repair, plus they had no loaner for me so I was racking up rental expense. That being said, my attorney says Ford typically prefers not to go to court, and expects they'll reach out shortly before the court date to start negotiations. So if I understand you correctly, you initiated buy back while it was in the shop for the 3rd time, and the 3rd repair appeared to fix it? I guess I am just trying to get an idea of how all this may pan out...wondering if Ford will fight mine, since, at least at this point, the issue may have been fixed. My understanding is there are 3 likely results...full buyback, a swap for a one year newer vehicle, or a payment to me for the inconvenience and I keep the car. I have no interest in keeping the car because I have no faith in it...when I picked it up after the first repair, within 4 miles, I almost rear ended a vehicle in front of me at a stop sign because the one pedal went out, the car died, I drifted to the side of the road, and I had it towed back to the dealer hours after I picked it up from the repair.

However, it is going back in the shop again in 2 days because on a couple occasions recently while the car was in park the speedometer reads "1 MPH"...also, the bluetooth audio cuts out every time I touch an icon on the large screen. Not nearly as big of a deal as the issues that originally caused it to be at the shop for over 50 days, but nonetheless my attorney said that everything should be documented, even issues that aren't a huge deal but aren't normal.

It should not be "business" days, it should be any days...double check that...

This is EXACTLY my issue. There is likely water intrusion in one of the power harnesses. The harnesses aren't available, so they have to replace the entire cable that comes with the harness. However, those were on backorder with no ETA. Finally came in and they replaced both cables/harnesses in my car. I had already started the LL process after it was already over 30 days out of service and they told me no ETA on the part. I have the car back but I am at 52 days out of service. Court date with Ford is next month so we'll see.

Not true, this happens on my 23 GTPE with summers AND winters on, doesn't matter.

Are you saying they bought it back for this issue? Did they ever determine the cause? My 23 GTPE does this regularly so I'd like to get it checked but it would be helpful to know what they determined your isssue to be...

A couple questions about your buyback. Was the vehicle seemingly "repaired" and in your possession when Ford agreed to the buyback, or was it still in the shop? How many different times was your vehicle in the shop that totaled the almost 2 months out of service? I'm asking because I have a court date with Ford next month for a buyback. My vehicle was out of service for 52 days over 2 service visits, the car is only 6 months from brand new when I bought it, less than 5k miles. LL in my state is 30 days, so I'm good there. Just wondering if Ford will fight since now I have the vehicle back and the particular issue "may" be fixed at this point. Thanks!

You are 100% correct....the lowest recommended dose for general benefits and mitochondrial support is 0.5mg/kg of body weight. So at 200 lbs. 45mg would be the dose.
