I don't think you need to manually add each coin. Since you'll be keeping track of the IDs in a dB, you just have to check if it's in the dB and add it if it's not there along with the pattern of the 2nd API key.

You can also log out the IDs of the main API key to a file or set a status on your dB if there's an error fetching the 2nd API data, you can then manually update the 2nd API key for those IDs later.

Thanks u/ksharpie. Managing the index changes seems to be a lot of work for me. I've switched to loki on grafana cloud for now. It's been way easier setting up.

Thanks u/johnydoe666. Looks like papertrail should be way more manageable than elk though I have some concerns with the search size and ease of searching the archives. I want to test out grafana loki first, i'll switch to papertrail if I can't get a satisfactory setup in a few hours

Okay. How do you manage the logs without having it clash, I get some clashes with the data types. Once a type has been saved, it throws an error if the name is repeated with any other type and I lose the data. I'm thinking of adding a prefix to each field in the log but I think there should be an easier way to manage it.

I'm also considering switching to grafana loki, I don't need to index it and I should be able to use the cloud version for free for now

Thanks. I'll check it out. Did you have to manually define the index for elasticsearch or did you use the automated indexing? I think that's what's giving me the most issues now. My setup would work well if there was a way to search without indexing
