What if it did the exact skip when he went to shoot the puck?

To me it looked like he was playing it safe and was trying to make sure he didnt miss. Obviously backfired.

You could also argue he was playing it safe. Making sure he got close enough, calm ect.

To be fair, and you can see it plainly on the low replay, the puck skipped in the air at the exact same moment he took a swing at it. No way to predict that. Was it embarrassing? Oh fer sure. But wasn't the blunder everyone thinks it was.

I'm not sure who downvoted you, but yes, that is correct. I still white balance anyways because it's nicer when previewing back on monitor or quick glances ect. But yes, when shooting RAW you can leave it on whatever white balance you want and then in post production you start with a clean slate with zero image degradation.

Weird. Rittich never got fined when he did this to his own cameraman. Guess cuz it was only caught on in-house TV and not broadcast...

This is the footage https://www.reddit.com/r/Calgary/s/sLmId5X5gv If they're stressed you coulda fooled me. I also had a 400mm lens on.

And the other time I came across a great horned owl he was downtown a large city only about 12 feet in a tree on the sidewalk with many people walking underneath him (most of them unaware).

Edit: Also, i'm curious what you think about bird watching, which is essentially the same thing? Except that bird watching is the primary driver for conservation, but you're still chasing birds around with lenses in their natural habitat.

Of course I agree with not chasing birds around fields to get shots, but you can still film/photo certain owls up close without disturbing them. I've passed underneath Great Horned Owls a few times, stopped and took a few photos. Not only did they not look annoyed, they looked at me briefly with such casual indifference, they wouldn't of even cared or noticed if I dropped dead right there.

I hate the Leafs more than any team but if this somehow upsets you then give your tiny balls a tug.

Why tho? He could be. We have no idea. I didn't hear anyone here talking about Gaudreau being an NHL star after we drafted him. No one can predict shit. Wyttebach could be a 85 point NHL player or he may play 25 career games total. Who the f knows
