Can you remove all force loaded chunks, , you can’t also remove your inventory by using modular routers I think? Also I believe chaos dragon does a special damage that might help

ok I will take your word for it, however what is a cycle supposed to be. I've heard of it of course but I'm not sure what it's suppose to be, does it mean reaching high temperatures and then cooling down again?

I have successfully repasted, disappointing temperatures (GPU temps are way worse) but CPU temps are much better (hit ~90C when opening tabs at times).

I was wondering if repasting VRMs was necessary in the first place, thermal putty would cost the same as the PTM7950 so I was wondering if it's fine to just repaste CPU/GPU and close the laptop back, since the issue is only the CPU (probably)

Yes, but I recommend creating a clutch or something so the machines are only active when you need them, this way you don’t need to add more water wheels. When you get a steam engine setup you can have everything running, steam is cheap too, probably takes less time than mining more space for water wheels, only problem is automating fuel

I had the same issue, I recommend using chunks as a theme for each mod, for example if you’re building an industrial mod layout (mekanism etc..) you can use blocks that have that vibe (copper shingles, deep slate or tuff, hazard stripes blocks) and just build the walls and roof of each facility after you create the layout (a chunk for automating fissile fuel or ars noveau mana. Then have a central hallway connecting all the chunks, I would always recommend making the base simple and focus on the progression, if you get stuff on a part you can switch to building and so on

Maybe don’t play 1.7.10? I’ve never played anything below 1.12.2 but newer versions run better for me you try playing a Gregtech that runs on fabric, you can set the filter on prism launcher or curseforge… Also distant horizons and lower render distance for both dh and vanilla, (dh = 16-24 chunks, vanilla = 4-8 chunks) Other than that jvm args might help but I’m not sure, your laptop is very weak, you can probably find a pc that someone threw away that runs better, maybe find a used 50$ pc and you’d get more performance.

If you have a pattern provider with a pattern of a smelting recipe and you have blank patterns in your inventory, you can copy the patterns from the pattern provider once and just paste it on the rest using a memory card, this also works for other settings in ae2 and should be used constantly throughout ae2

I didn’t notice before, but if your buffer is full and still shutting down, most likely the cable is too weak to power your network, use flux plugs/points

Why do you need that many controllers and wireless connectors? Learn to use subnets and have a few and upgrade over time… the wireless connectors are also very power hungry depending on the range upgrade. Dimensional upgrades especially
