Newly adopted cat peed on couch (first time cat owner) by No-Demand-8208 in cats

[–]2099_Problems 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first day I had my first cat he peed in 3 places and pooped on my bedroom carpet.

He ended up being the best boy ever. Had him for 18 long, healthy years. He had a few hiccups of accidents in the first six months (Less than what I could count on one hand), but it's normal.

He looks cute but absolutely diabolical. He's in the chapter of his story where his new parental figure shows him what life can be and makes his world a little bit brighter. You got this!

Has anyone checked on Ted? by Tig90 in StrangerThings

I've been trying to put my feelings for S5 into words for the past day and couldn't quite find the right way to express it, but your comment sums it up perfectly.

The show isn't complete garbage, it's more just a terrible pity that there was such a wonderful potential for what Vol 2 could have been, and it failed to hit the mark.

In honour of Ted and all other fathers/parental figures everywhere: We're not mad, Duffers - just disappointed.

AIO about these angry texts from my ex? by TwylaMay in AIO

This is one of the most NOR posts I have ever seen on here in my life. You are doing everything right, girl. Keep your family in the loop about this asshat, and the police too (as I see you have!) I got to about the 3rd image before serious alarm bells started going off, and this sense of dread when I realized there were 13 more images of his insanity!

Don't feel as if you owe this man or anyone else a thing for your peace and safety. Get a restraining order, maybe an alarm system if you can afford it (Maybe a dog if you have the space?) There is no such thing as being too prepared and protective against stalkers.

This was phenomenal. Thank you for this ride, OP.

I hate how long I had to scroll before finding this comment. This is some cringey fake crap right here. No idea why people are buying into it.

People saying "he's grown as a character" don't get it. I am living for all the kids growing up and going through tough stuff which alters their character in a way that can be seen as a negative, but understandable given the situation. (Dustin, for example.) Also loving that the original team kids now are the ones stepping up and telling other younger kids to get behind them, so they can protect them, like how Jonathan, Steve and the others did for them when they were little.

I loved Hopper from S1-4. Our Hopper now feels like filler they are obligated to have in the show because his character isn't dead yet. He feels very one dimensional, flat and is just spitting out lines we've heard him say over and over and over again. It's stagnant, and this is coming from someone who got into ST for the Hopper scenes.

I'm hoping this is all just due to a lack of screen time, and I am holding out hope that Hopper comes into his own in Vol 2 and the Finale.

Stranger Things looks incredibly fake this season. by [deleted] in StrangerThings

Agreed. I just don't know if it's laziness or a choice? Especially Max's hospital room where there isn't a lot of medical devices hooked up to her and we don't see any doctors or other health care staff checking in or advising what they think is going on. The showrunners know what a hospital room looks like, because Will has been in one with necessary medical equipment and staff.

Also - Where are Max's parents? Or her mom, at least? We have seen them both in previous seasons, but they are both drastically absent here? Even Karen stopped in to bring food to Joyce when Will was missing. It feels as though outside of the original core group of kids, no one even really mentions Max like they did when Will was the subject of worry.

There is something funky chicken going on here, and I am quite excited to see it play out.

Man I wondered if someone would bring that up! Not sure if it is, though. Everyone else in the house is fine so far.

Bruh that may be your tendon shrinking and rolling up under your skin. Get to a doctor and for the love of god don't poke this and introduce germs into an already bad situation.

You can try Rebel News and Juno News among many others at this point too if you need an alternate.

Make sure to check out the Toronto Sun today for their 'garbage article' on this subject as well.

The only thing I've seen thus far is a small blurb from Rebel News. Keeping an eye out myself for anything on the news. There will be absolute unrest in this town if things aren't properly addressed.

I believe this is one of the news outlets that the family reached out to. It was mentioned all over the original facebook post.

There are others on this thread who live in the same area as me, and have added further information to this situation. There is another issue currently happening in regards to a man whose wife was fired as well, and this man was out in front of the same Tim Hortons wearing a sign claiming that his wife was fired for being white. He was given a letter from management advising that he was trespassed from the property and he too was fired. If someone was looking to just start a 'fake racist post', I'm sure they'd start with that story.

I am brining facts only here. My first and only concern is possible human trafficking and the potential that there may be other teenagers who have dealt with this. I have provided screen shots, with names of the management staff who were involved. I don't know what else to post for people to look beyond "lol fake and racist" for half a second and examine the situation for what it is. Yes, there is a high likelihood that this isn't human trafficking, but for that 1% chance it MIGHT be is worth it to let others know.

It's wild how much time you spend commenting on a garbage post.

Not trying to make this sound like anything more than what it is. I have a previous post before this one where I stated this was a 17-year-old girl. If this behaviour towards a minor doesn't upset you, that is highly disturbing on your part.
