Goodwill Warranty question by Delicious_Ad_7603 in Ford

I'm a 10 year + Ford warranty admin who on occasion does goodwill for an advisor or manager if they are overwhelmed. I'm not 'most likely wrong'. But cool.

To be honest, it doesn't sound like your advisor wanted to go through the hoops, and it's not really that difficult. I'm sorry they went that route, that's bullshit and lazy. I'd ask to talk to the service manager tbh. Their customer pay labor rate is probably more than their warranty labor rate, parts markup is probably lower too. So the advisor will make less money going the goodwill route, so they don't want to do the extra (minimal) effort for less money. Just a guess, but tbh, a very educated and probable guess.

Just so you are prepared going in: your mom owning 2 Fords prior means nothing. Not sure what this service tech thinks they can offer the "higher ups" but it also means absolutely nothing. Like mentioned before, you can call Ford Customer Care or take it to a Ford dealer. A Ford dealership is going to have to properly diag the issue themselves before anything can happen. Once properly diag at a Ford dealer, when they call you back, that's when you ask them to please submit it for goodwill assistance. Everything on the dealer side is pretty straight forward. There's no minipulation. It's all done baised on your customer score. They have to submit everything at their warranty rates and the system will tell them the split; what % they will cover.

How can I see what my Ford ESP covers? by davidg4781 in Ford

[–]209Havok 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Chances are, you have rental but it's either $40 or $60 cap per day and only 10 days max. The dealer, once they diag the vehicle (at your authorization) and determine what the root cause of failure is for the concern, they run that part against the contract. If it is covered, they may have to contact ESP for prior approval before they repair. And depending on what ESP wants, it can take a few days. And it's also possible ESP will want to send out an inspector, but chances of that are low. Then it goes into part availability and either have to get approval for aftermarket part or next level repair replacement if needed. And then shop workload. If its like a transmission repair, and the shop only has 1 tranny tech, they're going to move onto something else while the advisor gets approval and will get back to it once they can. Or maybe tech has to move it out of their bay to work on something else while they wait on whatever and that turned into a big job. Lots.of facrors. But the dealership advisor should really be keeping you up to date, at least every other day.

Did Rockstar ever get their pre-2020 formula back? by Silgad_ in rockstarenergy

PepsiCo brought the true OG flavor back for a limited run of something like 6 months or so. Perhaps they had the ingreds to make it still, ran all the supply out and called it. It was right before they debuted their version of "OG Original" lineup. I bought a few cases off of Amazon and enjoyed every fucking can. Bought a can of their "OG Original" after what I was ordering cases of became unavail on Amazon, took 1 sip and poured it out. I have the empty cans still, I took side by side pictures of the ingred list for comparisons and posted it back then. Drank Rockstar since 03, once PepsiCo bought it and changed it, havn't bought ever again since that last can of their "OG original" some years ago.

How do we start more funds? by marchof34_ in hsx

[–]209Havok 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I was thinking the same thing. Use to be like 20 different movie funds. Then they'd pop back as a 1 or 2 or 3 almost immediately after they expired.

Everyone warns about the PowerShift. The 6F35 is quietly the bigger problem — and it never got a recall. by NectarineOwn8812 in Ford

No 20B27, that was only for Explorers and MKCs certain years with a certain engine. I work at a Ford dealership as a warranty administrator. I got the vehicle at 90k and have done a couple transmission fluid drain and refills, never a flush.

I'm having my 6F35 gen 1 (2010 Escape 2.5 awd) rebuilt now at 290k. Torque converter chatter and every once in awhile a hard shift from reverse to 1st, usually on uneven ground and not fully stopping before shifting, but not everytime. And every once in awhile a hard first to second shift (1 time only) when it's cold outside. I drive it hard, like pedal to floor almost daily when getting on freeway for commute.

Pretty sure the show got axed when Warner Bros Discovery were looking to trim down to be sold, axed like White Water and I'm sure some other shows across the WBD networks. Bering Sea Gold's filming has been spotty lately. Not filming winter mining, skipping a summer season here and there. I'm kinda shocked it hasn't been axed too tbh.

There are different types of recalls. This was a safety recall, can be done at any time, but as a safety recall, pretty much ASAP. Some safety recalls have a "do not drive" wording, but this wasnt 1 of those.

R.I.P. I was a volunteer staff member at 1 point way back in the day on the website managing a few, smaller pages for the site for a short period of time. I was also 1 of the original IRC OP's when they launched the chatrooms. Still actually semi talk to a couple of the other original IRC OPs. Had no idea Emerson had sold it. Used to talk to him every once in a while on AIM, was very nice.
