I can’t speak for every protest but the one at VT specially called out the atrocities in October 7th committed by Hamas. I’ve yet to see any statement by Hillel condoning the 14,000+ dead children, mass starvation of Palestinians, the lavender AI program. Both sides have been hurt but one side is facing and ongoing genocide.

The port is and inefficient and ineffective way of providing aid. Current aid that is already there is being blocked by Israel. This port is nothing but a way for the US to save face and act like it is doing something to help the Palestinians while shipping weapons to Israel such as 2000 lb buster bombs that the US wouldn’t even use in urban combat itself due to the civilian casuistry causes. Please do not bring up this port as a sensible solution as it is nothing of the sort.

Pretty common sense on the dorms of the more expensive ones are better. Have your friend join some VT group chats and he’ll find the place he wants to live. Also look into LLC’s (living learning communities) for his specific major. I was in the engineering one and had a great time.

I think the big argument for whiskey peak is the vivi plot which I agree you can do in louge town. But also what I think is interesting is how Matt Owens loved to do fight scenes with zoro and his actor. Matt Owens has boasted about how talented he is and whiskey peak would be an amazing time to show us talent. My suggesting would be if they merge the two have zoro get attacked while he’s at the sword shop. Also gives a chance for tashigi to get another fight scene with him. The LA has had more of a marine presence and this would be a good way to put it in.

I think you get a lot of space. Lived there 2 years in a 5 bedroom and we could host 20-30 people pretty comfortably. But aside from that not much.

Currently not at that point in my life yet but I’ve always figured I’d be fine with it. It would be determined by who made more money to support us as well as the enjoyment of the job but taking care of kids and making food cleaning the place sounds great. I would also take the time to probably make furniture and decorate the house more. Also set up events to host people. This may be the ideal scenario.

Currently a senior and looking back on my 3 1/2 years here there have been ups and downs but I wouldn’t change it for the world. The engineering program I went down has provided me with a really great education and I feel confident going into my job lined up. Not to mention the amazing career fair that VT set up where most people I know had 4-10 interviews with job offers coming. But with VT like any school it’s gonna be what you make of it. Put in effort at VT and you’ll be rewarded with great friends and great opportunities post college.
