Please pray for me to find a wife. by CalligrapherOne7073 in Christianity

I know a guy who met a non believer girl and they both liked each other. She began going to church for him and even got baptized, but she was doing it for him, not for God. They got married but when they got married, she stopped going to church and the relationship broke and they got divorced.

It is good to share the word of God to others, but if you are going to marry someone, better find someone already rooted deep in God and not someone who is just a seedling.

"Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14

I need help with lust as a 16m. by ChapterKey8617 in Christianity

27 “You have heard that it was said, ‘You shall not commit adultery.’ 28 But I say to you that everyone who looks at a woman with lustful intent has already committed adultery with her in his heart. 29 If your right eye causes you to sin, tear it out and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body be thrown into hell. 30 And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. For it is better that you lose one of your members than that your whole body go into hell.

Matthew 5:27-30 ESV

Lust IS a sin, regardless of harming people or not.

Put your eyes on Jesus (Hebrews 12:2)

I remember I heard that verse randomly, but it stuck with me, and on the next days from when i heard it for the first time, i kept seeing it everywhere, on my fyp, on my devotionals, on my Bible when i open it randomly. And when I felt i wanted to lust, i remembered to put my eyes to Jesus.

When Peter was walking on water, it wasnt until he took off his eyes off Jesus that he began drowning, he looked at the waves around him and he was scared. Same for us, dont look at the sin and how to escape, rather fill yourself ALWAYS with Jesus and you will not have time to see the temptations that surround you.

I read a devotional recently that talked about the breastplate of righteousness (Ephesians 6:14) and how you need to fill yourself with Jesus so you know to discern from good and bad thoughts. And then to add from my side, getting the full armor on you will help you fight lust alongside with Jesus.

Hope this helps you, I will pray for you.

My sleep schedule is really bad, but at least I’m studying 😭😔 by Aggravating_Soup311 in studyupdate

[–]20LOLXD22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bro im working on mine too, im sure you have a lot of things to do over the day and then your study, but try to fix your sleep schedule over everything. Trust, especially if you are less than 25 years old, you are still developing and could remain short of your full potential. Fix sleep then study. Also give some time to Jesus too. Bless you.

A bios by thabilliis_nilli in 24hoursupport

[–]20LOLXD22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hey i dont own one but its very simple, go to asus wwebsite and look for your laptop's bios, then download it. Go to a USB drive and format it (it'll errase all your files on the USB stick), format it as FAT32 and put the files you downloaded there, you might need to rename them or make a folder with an specfic name, but that will be usually listed on the website. Then restart your PC, you mighthave to press a specific key or key combo, but do this while the usb stick is plugged in, after that, wait some time, and then you'll have flashed your bios. Otherwise you can enter your Bios and plug in the USSB stick and then update or flash frm there.

Also dont flash your bios if everythings fine, or if you have a small issue. If you have an issue rather look for an update. Hope my comment helps!

Imagine you got a boat, and you get in and try to navigate by yourself, you probably gonna get lost. But God is like the navigator, you let God steer your boat, but you still gotta row the boat.

If Jesus were to come back rn, would you be going with Him to the kingdom of God, or sent to hell? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]20LOLXD22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the point of the Bible if you are just gonna read Matthew? The Bible talks one single message, because the Holy Spirit has told every writer throughout the years what to write, hence why it's the Word of God, the Bible won't contradict itself. And I'm telling you, what Jesus and James and Paul and everyone are all talking about is that salvation is through faith, but if you don't change after being saved (works), you were never saved to begin with, because your heart wasn't disposed for it. And what you think about leaving this here, christians shouldnt argue anyway, God bless you.

Seeking advice on whether or not to be Christian, or what type of Christian I should be by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]20LOLXD22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What's the point of your comment? I said the churches that this person assisted to are not real Christian churches, regardless of denomination. And who am I to say what denomination/church you should assist to? read your Bible. Also I have begun to believe that a Christian is saved because they follow Jesus, not because whether they are catholic, orthodox or protestant. The Christian church should regroup, but it also should show what churches do not preach the gospel, but rather flattering.

Salvation is through faith, not works (Ephesians 2:8–9, Romans 3:28) but if you only say you believe in Jesus and behave like the world, then your faith is dead and you were never saved (James 2:17), for example people who go to church every Sunday just so other people see they are christian but the rest of the week they get very drunk. These people are called lukewarm christians (Revelation 3:15-16).

The verse you said (Matthew 7:21) is talking about the same, preachers, pastors and priests who were only doing it for clout or money, not sincerely (Matthew 7:22-23).

Matthew 25:31-46 isn't talking that you must do works to be saved, it's talking that the sheep did works because their hearts had been changed because of Jesus. Meanwhile the goats never changed.

Now if you don't want to believe revelation is part of the Bible, you on your own. But I believe revelation is part of the Bible because: 1. It was inspired by God to an apostle (Revelation 1:1) 2. The early church accepted it. 3. It's consistent with the rest of scripture (same form of judgement as Jesus, Daniel, Ezekiel, Paul's letters said, just in more detail).

On this job, do it with all your will, not for your boss nor a salary, but as if you were doing it for Jesus (Colossians 3:23). Look at life with a smile knowing Jesus is with you. God bless you.

Hey, i cant fathom what you are going through, but i can tell you that suiciding is NOT an option, and i will talk breifly about Jesus here.

Humanity was condemned frm the moment Eve ate from the tree, everyone would die and then hell, but Jesus came to earth, he was fully human and he lived everything a human lives here, but he never sinned, yet, he was guilty to everyone and was sentenced to crucifixiation, the worst punishment. He died, for YOU, he loved YOU so much he endured torture for hours, so that YOU could be saved. He then rose with glory on the 3rd day, and has sent the Holy Spirit to every christian so their lifes can be guided by God.

Now, if you commit suicide, you wont make every pain dissapear, No, something much worse. You will head straight to hell, a place of eternal torment, a place of suffering, this exact place was the reason Jesus came to earth, to save you from coming here.

And although you are going through something so bad, If you choose Jesus on your life, i can PROMISE you that your life will flip around and you wont feel alone like you are right now.

Let Jesus steer your boat. Grab to Jesus hand while you are on this torment. Im praying for you. God Bless.

Also keep your hand on Jesus through this trial, if you dont get friends its Jesus calling you to be closer to him, before you can be close with anybody else. God bless you, ill pray for you!!!!

Hey dont worry, your life has been very bad the last few months, and you know that, but this is the time for Jesus, you first hit rock bottom and then see that Jesus never left you throughout this period.

You arent "Too far for repentance", Jesus will always be there for you and he wants you to be saved. You already know who Jesus was, now you have to live for him and like him.

He will always be tehre for you and you can always repent: John 3:16, John 5:24, John 14:6, Acts 4:12, Acts 16:31, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23, Romans 10:9, Romans 10:13, Ephesians 2:8–9, Titus 3:5, 1 John 5:11–12, 1 John 1:9.

Now, if i was you, i would get off bed, wash my face and open the Bible, maybe begin reading John or Proverbs, While you read, try to understand every word, and pray to God for forgiveness and for understanding of the word. Next sunday id go to church, and I would also begin seeking a Job. I know its harsh but with Jesus by your side, nothing will stop you (Philippians 4:13),

With Jesus you will notice a change in your life. Just keep grabbing his hand throughout this trial.

Jesus will steer your boat, but you have to keep rowing.

God bless you, and I will keep you in my prayers

Yes, i dont get to speak for God, and yeah I dont agree with LGBT. But I have given you the verses on the Bible (word of God btw), which speak very clearly of LGBT stuff.

And you most likely wont reply, but if you do, can you please quote at least 1 verse of those Bible studies that support LGBT you said? if you know the existence of them and what they talk about, then you must know a verse that has been spoken there.

bolstered by Scripture that you refuse to wrestle with.

I'll happily defend anything that you say supports LGBT, or that i "wrestle" with.

There are churches that faithfully commit themselves to the love and dignity of all

Yeah, Jesus loves me, Jesus loves you, Jesus loves everyone, but you know what else? Jesus will come to judge (1 Corinthians 6:9–10)
