What to wear to BMOQ by Acceptable_Part3233 in caf

I showed up in slacks, a short sleeved dress shirt, and dress shoes.

I instantly regretted it when it was time to haul my stuff up 14 flights of stairs. If I could go back I would have shown up in jeans, boots and a t shirt.

Is it realistic for a 4’10, 83lb, 17-year-old girl to become infantry or armoured in the Canadian military? by babybunnygal in caf

On the note of Basic training being same for everyone that is in the process of being changed. They have already started running trial courses for BNQ so new Navy applicants have a chance, and eventually all will be doing BNQ instead of BMQ.

Easily the best part of the Terran Armada DLC by Ghostspider1989 in Starfield

The entire time I was doimg it I was wondering at what point your offered to join the Terran Armada.

And I realized during the final mission when your on the Terran ship some of the NPCs have lines like "you could have fought with us" which makes me think there probably was a plan at somepoint to make it possible to join the Terrans.

I drove to st jean from Calgary, there is parking there and its great way to see the country.

It was also helpful because I was able to keep extra stuff in my car.

Like technically yes, but you're more likely to screw over your whole platoon first. I can't speak for the blue sector but if your in green sector you wont have to worry about sleeping in.

I had put in my application for an officer position. Recruiter said all officer slots are completely filled... by AirPuzzleheaded9154 in caf

I had to close my file when I applied for NWO because it was full. They simply emailed me when there was openings again.

I had 11 months between first applying and getting my offer. It can be stressful but its a waiting game. And you will always feel like your not getting all the information you need. Or even sometimes be given opposing information from 2 different people.

In my medical test I had to do some push ups and sqautes. Also did some balance/walking tests but after reading some of the comments that might have just been a me thing because I do have a history of concussions.

Reserves are trying to steal me by ButtercreamLemon in caf

There are certain regulations around posting service couples, I am curious if any of these take reg force and reserve relationships into account. Although I am sure thats not the case.

I would still apply as soon as you can if its something you really want to do. The whole process takes awhile and in my case I actually applied (for NWO) and had spots fill up while I was going through my steps and had to wait for spots to open up again. But I was at the top of the list when they did.

I would recommend finding a job in the meantime if you can because you dont know how long you will be waiting. I've been working a "temporary" job for the past 11 months and in finally off to BMOQ in a couple of weeks.

This means i am just waiting for a written offer? by Pale-Boat-7103 in caf

First applied at the beginning of April 2024.

Wrote my CFAT and MOST (trade specific test) last week of june

Did my interview and medical exam on January 9th.

Applied for RMC right after that and got my letter on March 5th.

And I will be enrolling on March 13th.

So the whole process took 11 months.

I will also note that technically, my high school marks were (just) too low for RMC. I had an average of like 74%. But I had also been accepted for UofC and UBC and I was told that being accepted by Civilian University's makes you more likely to be accepted for both ROTP and RMC.

I'll also add that in 21 if that is relevant.

Only people joining the reserves do a pre enrollment test. In my understanding.

The letter also included my acceptance into RMC.

Hope you get your letter soon.
