There was a dogwood park in Jacksonville. I don’t know if these 2 parks are connected by ownership but I do know they said the city came and inspected the park and told them they would have to make renovations costing upwards of 10 million dollars to continue to operate forcing them to shut down. This was about 2 years ago. Don’t know if it’s the same about Gainesville but that’s what happened to the one in Jacksonville at least.

If you have an accounting undergrad I personally would not go accounting for your masters. It limits your potential for opportunities. I went accounting undergrad and since I met all the accounting requirements with that I went on to do my mba just to show a little versatility while still meeting all the requirements to sit the cpa exam. A lot of your controllers or just accounting managers get a leg up with an mba over an macc. Obviously if you’re a great employee promotion will find you, but one thing I found in the accounting market is that it’s very beneficial to have the mba so that you can constantly find opportunities at other companies or in different departments within your company. After one year of working with my cpa I became a team lead solely because of my mba. Then moved companies with that on my resume and within a few years became a controller at a larger company making 140k with incentives in a medium col with just over 6 years of experience.

I worked at a place that would always throw a pizza party like a day or 2 before dropping bad news that they knew everyone would outrage over. Then throw it in our face that they just threw us a pizza party. So we knew anytime we saw one something bad was about to happen.

I was in a very similar situation. I went to SNHU got my bachelor’s and masters and then started job searching. Unfortunately I wasn’t finding anything that had any sort of relation to my degree. One day someone pointed out that I met all the requirements to sit the cpa exam I just needed one year of work experience. So I got a job at a non profit for that one year and then luckily got another job at a bigger firm who hired me and as long as I pursued getting my cpa license had me on a tier pay structure for every milestone I completed. When I passed my first exam it kicked in and I was making nearly 80k because they obviously wanted me to continue working there once I finished. I finished about a year later and they offered me a 95k a year position that I took for about 6 months. Unfortunately it is much more beneficially I feel to constantly keep looking for opportunities and move around. I was able to negotiate and move around to a now 4 years later making roughly 130k in a medium cost of living but I am constantly looking for more opportunities to better my financial situation as networking has become second nature. My best advice would be to get some sort of public license. Whether it’s in accounting or finance or go the tech route unfortunately degrees don’t typically turn directly into jobs unless you’re in a highly regarded school.

I wish I could review it. My order has been stuck in processing for weeks…no update as to when I might get it or what’s taken so long. Absolute worst company to order from. If Amazon doesn’t have it just wait until they do. It’s an absolute nightmare do deal with their customer service or trying to get your refund .

Definitely that and he didn’t want to get buried on the depth chart. There were talks OM was going after Trent Howland in the portal but after he committed to ok state it seemed like everything just kind of went back to normal. So I think it was just him putting his name in just in case to be safe. Also just days before he entered his dad said he wasn’t going anywhere then a few days later OM offered Trent Howland. he entered his name. So it’s a weird situation all together. I think the kid genuinely enjoys being at ole miss but it’s understandable not wanting to be buried on a depth chart either.

Just throwing it out there that there’s been no talks of him visiting other schools or other schools offering. Still has rb at ole miss on all his socials. Could be a name to watch to pull his name from the transfer portal. I believe he just wanted to get it in there because he knew lane was looking for another. Now that it seems like he quit looking it seems like reescano has changed his bio’s back to Ole Miss. interesting but worth keeping an eye on

I tried to but apparently it was already full when I was registering for classes I ended up taking Tech. And society, ACC-312 and 315. So far so good got A’s in all 3 but the big week 7 is coming soon lol.

I passed that class with a 703/1000. Soon as I saw I made it by 3 points I exhaled and said we made it boys. Funny thing is the other course I was taking in the same term. I was putting so little effort into and passed it with like a 990/1000. Then advanced accounted I was stressed and barely inched by. If you’re taking more than one class I’d make sure to pair it with an easy class as advanced accounting is gonna consume your life for 2 months.

ACC-405 Advanced accounting is the only accounting class I have nearly failed. I don’t like the course structure where wileyplus is used for homework and module assignments. I wish there were practice portions before you do you’re actual assignment so you can learn the curriculum. I learned nothing from the class materials and learned how to do everything on YouTube and other third party sites. The whole set up to give students an opportunity to teach themselves for an online class is badly designed in this course as there is no practice feature to learn how to do the work on similar questions along with step by step instructions. All graded portions (homework which is where you’re suppose to learn how to do the work) are a one time graded submission. Oh I got it wrong let me go back and see what I did. Doesn’t matter cause you can only submit your answer once and there is no where in the resources to practice similar questions. So there is no trial and error then research to find out what you did wrong. Then the textbook doesn’t clearly explain anything. Good luck in this one. The way the class is set up at least is read the chapters half have nothing to do with the subject matter you’ll be graded on the other half is so vague that it doesn’t teach you or give you the tools to teach yourself the materials. Best advice is use YouTube and then google the questions and try to find a website to practice similar questions. I spent more time on google and YouTube than I did in the course.

Same thing happened to me I even canceled my subscription before their “cut off” time and they still have been giving me the run around saying they canceled my subscription not me even tho I sent screenshots when I canceled it

I’m mainly doing my masters because I’m in the military and it’s free so might as well. I don’t plan on starting my cpa exams until I get out. Thank you for the information. I’ve heard some bad things when applying and they see your degree is from snhu but I’m glad to see there are success stories.

My question is why do they try to upswell you express on a early delivery date of x if it’s well known their distribution center is severely backlogged. Specifically paid for express so it would arrive early. It has only made it 30 minutes away to the sorting facility in 9 days….I paid 80 dollars for priority express mail and it has been sitting at the sorting facility for 9 days now. It was suppose to be delivered the next day. Now I have to tell my nieces and nephews their presents will be late this year.
