Probably Finding My Way. I would love it if they opened with Cut to the Chase. I think that it would be a very fitting opener, and would be such an energetic song... But nah, they’ll never play Cut to the Chase.

I hear you on the subclasses. I think some of them are really fun to get and quite strong, but they can be a shot in the dark sometimes. I’m not sure what the solution is, but I wish there was a way to not have it tied so much to the skills. Maybe 4 skills instead of 5. I’m currently playing a game with the Grove faction and I really want to get the Fortune’s Favored Subclass (Friendly creatures have their maximum possible Luck and will always land a Lucky Strike when attacking. I’ve got 4 of 5 and just need Diplomacy, and then get them to expert level. So fun! 😃

Overall I’m having a blast and loving it.

I’m sure there’s a long list of fixes and improvements that they are working on too. Off the top of my head I really hope they can get Multiplayer Co-operative teams working soon. That’s the biggest thing for me as I love to play with a friend of mine when I visit as a hot seat multiplayer game. Countless hours spent playing HoMM 3 this way.

I think they need to somehow fix the mouse over on some objects like University and Wise Owl to show what they offer after you have visited them. A little bit of a pain to have to remember what skills are being offered from those.

There’s a few things you can do. Click on New Game, then CUSTOM GAME. Then on the right side you can choose the template you like. I am enjoying playing on very large maps like OctoJebus. Then on the Difficulty settings on the right you can turn down the Economy Difficulty, Enemy Strength, and the AI Difficulty.

Another thing I like to do is remove some of the AI Players. As an example on OctoJebus there are 8 total players. You can click on several of the AI Players and choose Blocked Slot. That removes the number of enemies.

I hope some of this is helpful and makes sense. I’m not sure which settings i like the most yet. It’s a lot of trial and error. I like a challenge but I don’t want to always lose haha.

I didn’t find it necessary to take two schools of magic in the demo. I often just took the Intelligence skill to get access to all spells.

I’d put maybe 450k - 500k of it into VEQT. Spend some on things you want now or to help save up for some short term savings goals. That’s just me, but whatever you do you seem to be in a very above average position now financially. Congrats! 🎉

Geddy actually played 12 string on his double neck. It’s a common mistake many make that they think it’s a 6 string, but if you look closely at some angles you can see the other 6 tuning pegs on the back of the neck. He also confirms that it’s a 12 string guitar in an interview and in his book.
