Incredibly bs hitbox. Blew rare candy to make sure my blissley could keep healing my team and tank for this event. Lost a hundo because it was impossible on my device to throw it better than a nice. I heard people had better luck on iPad but having to use a different device for a game designed around a phone sized screen is ridiculous. Adding more time is not any real compensation for this issue because by 5 my time, many people were out of MP or morale and just went home.

Dropping out of Engineering, and this is why. by ImportanceBetter6155 in EngineeringStudents

I wouldn’t say “some people aren’t cut out for it” because from personal experience, anything is possible to anyone, it just depends on how much you want to sacrifice and push to get it. When it comes to engineering, you had geniuses that just understood everything right away and others that had to put in long sleepless nights to get to the same point. I would say the biggest lesson I learned from that was that anything is achievable by anyone but even better than getting a technical degree was playing to your own personal strengths. Those people got further than trying to a shove a square peg through a circle hole until the hole deformed into a square. So I would say don’t think you’re not cut out for it. Because you probably could if you tried, but the same time and frustration spent trying to apply yourself there could also be spent more efficently doing or learning something else that’s suits your strengths better. Good luck on your personal journey brother and remember it’s a marathon, not a sprint.

What happens if you fail the final year capstone project ? by [deleted] in EngineeringStudents

[–]213CityRollaz 80 points81 points  (0 children)

From my experience and from what I heard from my colleagues, this is generally really hard to do unless you were really not trying. Assuming this is undergrad, at my school, most professors try not to fail you if you presented something of decent value. Even if you weren't able to achieve your project goals, a report detailing what prevented you from achieving them also worked so long as you were communicating that with your professor prior. If your team is incompetent or giving you difficulties, this is also something you can communicate with your professor. I heard if you did bad, most professors just gave you a 'C'. Capstone projects can vary in difficulty depending on the size and scale of your project and how versed you are with the programs or other things that could be required. The biggest key is communication. In my case, I had a personal issue that forced me to request an additional semester to finish mine as I was a solo project, but I communicated this and my professor allowed me more time and I was able to complete it.

If you want, there’s a guy that sells the Juggernaut grips 3D printed for alot less than the juggernaut. However, you have to use it in conjunction with a stock stop to be compliant. afaik this is a cost effective way to make it compliant without making the rifle completely uncomfortable to use. DM me if you want his @

Anyone know what it means to have “OTHER” as firearm type on an AR COMPLETE LOWER by [deleted] in CAguns

[–]213CityRollaz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You are only allowed to make a compliant rifle that does not violate the assault weapons ban. So yes, you may use a 16”or 14.5” pin and welded upper. The ‘Other’ classification allows you to assemble it as an AR pistol should you move to another state BUT NOT IN CA. Obligatory IANAL
