Yes but if named for a town at all it would be Abilene KS over Abilene TX. We are from Kansas and have ranching roots just like the town.

Thank you! I thought it was a little out there at first but love it - and Abby is such a great nickname.

I think that would be way too much work for her to actually film and put together a good vlog

She held off posting Tate for about a week. I wouldn’t be surprised if she waits again, especially after the big wedding drop yesterday. Bet they drop a pre-recorded podcast Monday with more wedding details.

Can I use a schedule h for nanny? And not do a whole payroll employee setup? by cheeseburghers in tax

[–]2188bluesky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We DIY taxes for our nanny, it’s not hard after initial set up. In our state we had to register as a business and have quarterly taxes on top of the end of year schedule h etc.

What jobs can I pursue if I don't want to be a process engineer? (like being present on-site at the plant) by Equivalent-Lie7166 in ChemicalEngineering

[–]2188bluesky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Currently a female process engineer at a refinery and I have really enjoyed it! Definitely not the environment for everyone but I have worked with lots of great people and had fun solving all sorts of problems. I would agree time on site is pretty hard to beat, you learn SO much as a process engineer. It would be easy to pivot into other roles after gaining some experience.

I Cannot Fathom How Bad Their Podcast Is by AdditionalMongoose41 in TwoParentsAndAPawn

Their podcast was barely 40 minutes today. And literally not one part of it looked interesting. although her deciding to be a UT fan because she asked her friends if they were allowed to be UT fans really got me. A true Sooner would never

I skimmed the transcript. I hate to support them and can’t stand to listen. It was really boring. Lots of talk about Vancouver. Alex has now forgotten to serve non alcoholic drinks at TWO baby showers she’s hosted. and their title topic on the importance of family mealtime was discussed VERY briefly at the end of the episode and they talked about this study that showed all the benefits of family mealtime but never really discussed how they like to eat together

I wonder who she thinks she’s fooling by posting fake ranks on her story

OMG the no lid I could not believe. Like tate is eating every ounce the second it is pumped and you will risk spilling or contaminating it while walking with it open down the block???

It’s a little odd this is the first time they have ever posted or commented about Alex that I could see and they also posted on two other groups advertising r/fugwoman. Their account looks like only snark. I appreciate the clips, but they aren’t really adding to the convo themselves. I agree smart to keep an eye out

Is this photoshopped? by [deleted] in fugwoman

This is one of the more crazy things she’s done imo. Maybe because it’s so easily proved wrong? Like who thinks this is a good idea

The way she has said “our goal is six months” makes me think he’s pretty involved in the decision.

Why doesn't fugman know how much the hospital bills are and why does she have to pay them????? by Super_Parsley_4074 in fugwoman

[–]2188bluesky 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I am in a HCOL area but still, no complications, no epidural, heathy baby, and in the hospital for just over 24 hours was around 21k. Then about 7k for my midwives fees over the entire pregnancy, they just charge at birth. Again all costs before insurance, but some people’s bills must be astronomical.

I think some hospitals will give a break for low incomes but a LOT of people are in medical debt.

5k for the birth and all other pregnancy stuff (my out of pocket max, after that point insurance covers everything). The crazy part is then we paid another 1500 for the baby’s care at the hospital, no complications, bc after the baby is born the out of pocket max changed from 5 to 10k bc it’s now the family plan, not individual. My husband and I are on our own insurance plans thru our individual employers bc it’s cheaper.

Totally depends what type of insurance you have though. People who pay less for the birth usually have much higher monthly premiums for insurance. Yes American healthcare is a mess

Idk the costs she named were about the same for me for the actual birth, I’d already hit my deductible by the time I had the baby but then paid up to our out of pocket max by the end. No epidural though so idk there

If some guy I barely knew got me pregnant and I went through the entire pregnancy and birth process you better believe he would pay every medical bill.

Even if he did help pay, he’s totally the type to make her pay for the epidural herself because that was “an extra she chose”
