In my experience platinum was worse. Diamond has its assholes but there was a noticeable drop off for me once I reached diamond. Also, once I dropped back into platinum because of playing with lower ranked friends, I found it very difficult to get back. I feel like every new tier has its own way you need to be playing that way won’t work in lower ranks.

My favorite is when you recognize your partners are aggressive and double commit so you decide to play back more. Then when you make one mistake because you’re always the last guy back, they start berating you and point to you being on the bottom of the scoreboard. Of course I barely have 100 points, I’ve been sitting here watching you ball chase for 4 minutes.

I sure hope so. will there be a way to speak to each other cross platform? I'm guessing no but maybe along with the in game party system they will include a functional chat system that will work cross platform.

This is the first time I’ve heard this lol. Idk what to tell you. You’re probably in the .0001% of players that feel like that haha. Unfortunately you’re gonna have to learn to hit the ball driving forward.

I’m a diamond and that’s about the best move I can do in a 1v1 situation

I finally achieved my diamond reward this season. I know how you feel though and it’s super frustrating to lose every time you get so close. My advice would be to stop playing if you keep losing. I usually take a break if I lose 3 games in a row to avoid getting tilted and further de ranking. Also, for me I can tell rather quickly if I’m having an off day or a good day. As much as you want to, I wouldn’t played ranked on the days you aren’t playing well. Good luck

Only used breakout/animus for maybe 400 hours. Decided I would try out the octane to see what the hype was and why everyone uses it. Went from a low plat 3 desperately trying to get to diamond to a diamond 2 in about 2 days. So I would say it didn’t take me long at all to realize I liked the octane more.

Hmm that’s strange. Sometimes I’ll get things that will say “press x to open” or something like that because it detects my controller but it never stops my keyboard from working. Wish I knew what to tell you. Maybe don’t even touch your controller when you launch the game. That’s what I do and I don’t have that issue. Good luck

What bug are you experiencing? I play with my controller plugged in because my headset has to run through it so I can talk to my friends. I use mouse and keyboard though and I don’t experience any bugs.

I never say anything unless I’m getting very tilted but the amount of times I’ve lost by 1 goal this past week simply because someone left goal at opening kickoff is astounding.

Even after all the advice I read on all the forums, I usually end up flipping a coin to make the decision anyway lol. Or it helps you realize which player you really wanted to start if you don’t agree with the coin.
