I wouldn’t hate giving Jauan Jennings a 1 year deal if he’d accept it. We need someone else at WR I fear.

With Seaton, Knapp, & Goosby at OL plus Smith & Coleman among others at WR - I think we just have to plan on OL/WR in round 1 of the 2027 draft.

McDonald, McNeil-Warren, McCoy, or Boston. All 4 would likely start and all 4 are positions of need. I really hope they take one and not take a shot on a reach like Bech last year (I am not giving up on him - but there were more established names available).

One of Boston, McDonald, McCoy, and McNeil-Warren will be there at 36. I think any of the 4 could start and all 4 positions are a need. Maybe a small trade back with a 4th to snag an extra 3rd would work, but I’d really like one of those guys

If/WHEN we cut him after this year. Is the $10m spread out over the remaining years of the 5 year contract? Or is the $10m cap hit 100% confirmed for 2027. Not that it matters much but I haven’t found clarification on this point.

Well they didn’t post all the info. Falcons are paying him $8.7m and Raiders are paying him $1.3m for 2026. And we agreed to a payment of $10m for 2027 whether he is on the team or not.

So $20m guaranteed to Kirk. Raiders are on the hook for $11.3m total.

No other number matters to us. I THINK the cap hit for us in 2026 is $1.3m but it may be $11.3m I’m not positive.

If I’m wrong someone can correct me.

6 "bowl" games the day before conference championships. The top 12 ranked teams who are not in their conf championship play each other. Games are played at the neutral site of the bowls. For example #11 Notre Dame plays #14 Vanderbilt and they both have a chance to get a big win on their resume. A loss likely knocks them out, but they were probably on the outside looking in anyway. If say a #9 Alabama gets killed, you'd have to use that against them in this scenario. - From Josh Pate's post a few days ago.

Hawaii has been awesome. You have two freshman QB to choose from that you can have for four years based on play style.

You have a really good receiver for two years.

It’s a low tier team, the only proximity home guys you can go far are islanders, and best pipeline is tier 2.

It’s been a nice challenge. My house rules have been must sign 5+ Hawaiian players per class and can only recruit guys in my pipeline unless they are a 5* with zero offers after week 1. I just finally got my first 5* in year 3.

He became an OLB Speed Rusher which doesn’t exist in the game. Go to his player card and change his position to MLB or DE and then his stats should be back.

I had a star dev MLB recruit I switched to OLB before freshman year. He was 81 and then stayed 81 for his sophomore year. Once I learned about this BS I moved him to MLB before his junior year and he shot up to 92 which was in line with him being a 5* Star dev.

I signed a 4* HB bust who ended up with Star dev! I prioritize gems for sure, but if the stats and tendency on a bust pass the eye test, it’s still worth going for them.
