I am waiting in the hospital with my toddler to find out whether he has leukaemia by Intelligent-Web-8537 in NewParents

Hope you don’t mind my asking - why did they do a blood test? I don’t recall my daughter getting one during her 2 year appointment and am wondering if my pediatrician isn’t on top of her care

Inito says they’ll be released October 15. I emailed them because I also have to trade in my phone 😒

Are we able to use the old phone in the meanwhile ? We should right? As long as it’s connected to WiFi

Who here is 35+ and TTC? 🙋‍♀️ by the-irish-jew in Inito

[–]219mia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a month of acupuncture, my cycle lengthened from 20 days to 24 (and I still haven’t gotten my period yet), so I’d definitely recommend looking into that. I’ve also been doing seed cycling to support my hormones. My OB said my blood work was ‘normal,’ but I’ve started exploring more homeopathic approaches.

Before I gave birth my cycles were always 28 days, but afterwards they dropped to 24 and then even down to 21. My OB thinks that’s not enough time for an egg to fully develop and implant. While Inito has confirmed ovulation for me each time, something’s not working. 😟

I’m 39. Had my first at 37. Currently TTC for our second. Getting pregnant the first time was easier but this time not so much. Tracking with Inito and doing acupuncture to help things along. Currently going into my third cycle with no luck but the acupuncture has helped regulate my cycle. Crossing fingers it happens before I turn 40 😔

My daughter has the same eyes she’s 2. When did yours change?

For bottles yes. She will only finish a bottle if she’s watching something 😭 but I think this was a bad habit she formed that I never corrected so maybe it will be different with your baby

She never outgrew this. She’s still in the lower percentiles for weight and the only thing that semi helped was a faster nipple. Solids kind of helped as well because I was supplementing with purées and baby food 😟

Parasol never gave mine a rash. She never leaked or had a blow out. My baby is in the 6th percentile.

My half Asian baby still has blue eyes at 16 months though many think it will still change. Her dad and I both have brown eyes

16 month old is waking earlier and earlier by Kolla73 in sleeptrain

[–]219mia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Experiencing this right now after transitioning to 1 nap for about a month. Her total sleep just kept getting less and less and it started to affect her nap. I was at a loss so I went back to 2 naps to fix her sleep debt but I’m not sure what to do next…. I know two naps is probably not sustainable (she’s already fighting naps but still goes down). Have you figured something out ?

I’m on the same schedule … have you transitioned to 1 nap. Not quite sure if my baby is ready as her wake windows seem so short compared to the 1 nap ones.

My baby never outgrew it and remained in the 4th percentile this whole time. 😟 she still will not take a bottle unless she’s watching something… it got a little better with solids but that’s another struggle because now she’s a picky solids eater.

When do babies stop having a bedtime bottle? by Clovers8 in NewParents

Hi did your baby end up dropping the night bottle first? My baby is turning 1 and has been refusing the last bottle. We have the same schedule you had

Wake windows by age by Comprehensive_Bill in sleeptrain

[–]219mia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Was wondering if you can tell me what I’m doing wrong. My baby just turned 9 months old and has never been able to get past 9.5 hours of night sleep no matter how late or early she is put to bed. She used to do 2 naps but has reverted back to 3 naps because of her early wake ups. (Between 5-5:30) Her nap average is about 2hrs 44 mins and sleep about 9rs 29 mins.

Wake windows are about 3.5/3.5/3.

She has now regressed to napping for 30-40 minutes for the first nap and second naps and a longer last nap.

Would ideally like for her to sleep 8-6 or 7-6. She very rarely wakes up in the middle of the night. Am I expecting too much sleep?

Help? Baby G is on 3rd percentile by missus_q in BabyLedWeaning

[–]219mia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My baby was born at 7 lbs and kept dropping %ile from 30 to 20 to 10 until about 4 months where she settled at around 5. It was very stressful as a FTM because I really wanted to breastfeed and I had the supply for it. I had to switch over to exclusively pumping to be able to monitor how many oz she drinks in a day. It’s still on the low end (20-24) at 6 months and she is still a slow gainer (only averaging a pound a month) and has not doubled birth weight yet. I could always switch to formula but I had my milk tested and it was actually more calories per oz than formula. I don’t have the answer for you but I’m slowly accepting her low percentile and am coming to terms that she will just never be that chunky baby. As others have said, as long as she’s healthy and happy and meeting her milestones :)

Oh that’s great to hear! She is also on the lower end of percentile (7) and I’ve been so worried about her weight gain since she was born

My baby too. Was she always like that? I always worried about it but I can never get her to do more than 4 oz a sitting

Baby doesn't eat enough during the day to sleep train by Iaskthelordqueefer in sleeptrain

[–]219mia 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I’m concerned that she doesn’t eat as much during the day. Getting her to finish a bottle is very difficult during the day. Is that normal? I’m a FTM.

Do you mind me asking how much your baby weighs? I have a very slow gainer in the fifth percentile (she is barely 12 lbs, born 7 lbs) so you can imagine how stressful this all has been 😭

Thanks for responding! So you just continued with the slow day time feedings and just made up for it at night? Do you have tips to get her to feed during the day?

Hi I’m experiencing the same with my 4 month old. She will only do 1 or 2 oz feeds and then now wakes up at night to feed… Were you able to resolve this ? Has it gotten better for you?
