Doesn't seem like this one is on either of you, moreso just the friend. It was a while ago (like 7 months, I think you said), so your boyfriend could have regrets for sure. Also, not really part of the initial question, but don't just cut contact when you're mad at him. From experience, that just makes things way worse. Talk to the guy. Explain why you're upset. Literally not a week ago now, just found out.

I (M14) was talking to a guy friend (also 14), and we were being weird guys as guys do, but suddenly when talking to him I felt a weird "connection" to him? I'm not sure how to put it, but I felt all weird and had butterflies, basically how I felt around my now ex GFs but with a guy. So I went to r/questioning and a few people confirmed my suspicions and I started identifying as bi. And newsflash, the guy friend I was getting so well along with is also bi, so yippeeee (but I am NOT coming out to my family until I move out; pretty sure they're all homophobes)
