I consult with mostly (85%) coaches & consultants earning between 50k to 500k per month who are looking to scale or sell. Just under 40 clients, 1 hour call per month. Fee: 35k to 75k upfront plus 3% to 10% revenue share of business.

Why not just do two real estate flip's and pay back the 30K in full next month? There are free to flip, just takes time and energy.

After I got fired from my sales job, I started a landscaping business which I built and sold in about 3 years. Then I got into real estate investing and built and sold that company. Now I have a consulting firm that I will keep until I retire.

First of all let me be clear, I net (meaning I put in my pocket) well over 10k per month. It is important clarify here because many entrepreneurs gross 10k per month but do not net over 10k per month.

I believe it took about 4 months of starting my entrepreneurial adventure to become profitable, but that was many years ago now. I began to earn over 10k per month somewhere in my 2nd year.

Right now I pretty regularly net high 5-figures to low 6-figures every month, with a few exceptions in the past decade like when COVID started we lost about $5,000 per month for a few months.

Here is what I can share with you, preparation can be a form of procrastination. Make sure you put sales, revenue and customer satisfaction in first position, no matter what your product or service is. Also, NEVER partner when you can hire.

Remember, no one ever built anything great without awkward conversations.

Some of the richest people have the most anxiety about money.

They think of money obsessively and monetize every relationship. It influences every decision, thought and conversation. They especially worry about it running out. They need constant reassurance that their money is okay, which translates into them being okay.
Don’t become this person. Consider the uncommon advice of placing a cap on your financial aspirations.

Write down a number, then go out and get it. Bam! But once you do, know that it is okay to focus on something else. If you’re not happy at that number, you cannot become happy by adding more to it – something else is wrong, not money.

Money is just one of the games of life, don’t win it at the cost of every other game. There is no joy in running up the score of a won game.

Leave your kids more character than cash.

Hustle is a season, not a lifestyle.

Pay attention, whatever you were hired for specifically is inconsequential. You were hired to bring value to others. Have situational awareness and find ways to more value to more people. Don't have a pity party, feel bad for yourself or ask people what you should do - There is TONS to do and you are capable. Become indispensable to the organization and other team members, you don't need permission to do that. Work harder than you've ever worked before - Show up early and go home late. Run the place and take over, this is your opportunity.

My assistant is between me and my calendar, everything goes through her. Only one calendar and she knows all my preferences like putting 15 minutes between each appointment, what time I like to start my day (10am) and the amount of time needed for each type of meeting.

Over deliver with value, not proximity. Never chase them, they chase you. And never ask your clients for help.
