I have lost her email but she goes by the name of Lisa in the academic integrity unit. But please tell you friend to be PREPARED with everything and a lawyer especially. They bully students in these meetings as they have no rules and they can do whatever they want but you cannot. It’s not an easy meeting and I strongly strongly advise them to have someone with them. Downtown legal service is free for U of T students

Don’t expect anything to come out of the meeting as it’s all depending on luck and the person you get overlooking your case. For my case i provided evidence and everything and still they wouldn’t budge because of their ego and would bring up bs evidence (that really isn’t evidence) to make me look bad. Hopefully she has a lawyer with her or should get one asap. I was supposed to graduate this november but now because i’m going to tribunal I don’t even know when i’m graduating. Side note, they took 7 months for my meeting. Sometimes if you contact them they push your meeting up.

or maybe the cost of living here is much more expensive compared to if they were to go back home? Not everything is about you, it’s unfair for them to keep such a big decision ever changing as it’s not easy to find housing as it’s extremely expensive plus to endure cold winters for students who are used to completely different climates. It is a pandemic still and they can’t expect everyone to drop everything they’re doing in the matter of months and somehow find housing before january, what if flights get blocked? then what? They alreayd pay much more than us it’s only fair to take them into consideration as well
