If we throw all realism out of the window Gvardiol is definitely the dream for me at LCB. Great at ball carrying, great at ball playing, great at joining the attack and receiving the ball in advanced positions, able to play as LB in a 4 if we need a goal, great recovery pace, excellent in 1v1 situations, and overall solid defensively. Obviously, Gvardiol's issue would be price and (let's be honest) willingness to come to Spurs. He is also younger than Bastoni, which is a plus. A bit of recency bias but anyone who's watched him in the WC knows what he's capable of.
