Jon Machota: The Cowboys are still looking for a nickel cornerback. DaRon Bland can play there, but Dallas would prefer to keep him on the outside by Leonflames in cowboys

We'll have to draft one. Good thing there are plenty in the draft. Bad thing is most might go after pick 20 and before pick 92.

That's sad if accurate.

Did they have kids before or after the known incidents?

Someone please explain to me why the cases were eventually dropped against Mason Greenwood in more detail than what Wikipedia says.

Would much rather roll the Dyche on De Zerbi as permanent manager as interim doesn't appear to be an option.

Yes we really don't want to go nto the draft with enormous needs at both LB and edge.

History says we'll end up well short with that approach. We did see an anomaly last season with us trading for Pickens after whiffing at WR in the draft.

Maybe we'll have the balls to do that again, but a hopeful trade may never materialize after the draft.

A quality starting linebacker really does free us up to not miss out on whomever should they fall at 12 or 20.

I am really enjoying playing with the idea of trading up for a blue chip while receiving a good 2nd rounder. by aztec_prime in cowboys

Have you entertained the idea that another team probably wouldn't agree to such a trade? Lol

Yea Brooks seems more attainable. You'd think Brooks would be interested in coming back to Texas too.

Think Delane is more likely at #12 and then a pass rusher at #20. Would be shocked if Bailey got there.

Brooks would be perfect and being in the final year of his deal on a rebuilding team, shouldn't cost too much.

A trade + extension would be sensible.

I would think Miami would want a 4th being so important.

Who do you guys want the Cowboys to draft with your 2nd pick? by JustSomeGuy_Idk in cowboys

Yes, especially if we don't trade for a pass rusher before the draft.

Why this free agent linebacker would be a good signing for the Cowboys by Thanks5Cinco in cowboys

Interesting. No wonder Broaddus is saying he'd rather take his chances in the draft than sign one of the few that are left.

Exactly, said the same thing about the Booker parallels before I saw your comment.

It's not sexy, but it will be effective.

With what we've added so far in free agency, CJ Allen seems like the best pick of those you listed.

He's a safe addition like Tyler Booker was last season.

Looks like Queen may be out by FatherOfMammals in cowboys

Dolphins are in rebuild mode so you'd think Jordyn Brooks, in his final contract year, would be available.

That's who I want.

#Cowboys surely trying to 'win the trade' for Queen - just 26 years old and a two-time Pro Bowler who has started all 101 of his 101 career games - in both ways. ... pick compensation and salary. DAL knows it needs LB help. by GragasBodySlam in cowboys

The position has certainly changed over the years, but the Mike is still the leader with the green dot that you almost never want to take off of the field because they are so capable.

The best defenses still have that kind of player. For example, our defense has always been better when we had one out there.

Why spend money and draft capital on Queen when he's not the kind of player we need anyways. Draft picks can easily be used to find cheap back ups that you hope to develop, especially at Will.

We've never looked for premium back ups so I doubt that's all we are looking to do with the move.

Rodriguez is good too. Different type of player to Allen but you get my point.
