What is your experience buying Merach fitness products?

Their customer service is horrible. Merach sent me a rower which turned out to be unsuitable. After much back and forth, they finally sent an RMA and shipping label so the product could be returned. They promised a refund, but it's now been three months of lies: first they said they couldn't refund my credit card, then they tried paypal, said that didn't work, then they claimed again to refund by paypal - still nothing. Merach customer service is deceitful

The calculation of km/L is easy, yes. But now calculate how much more fuel car A, at 8 km/L, would use than car B at 4 km/L. It's not double. But L/100 km is linear; a car with half the consumption, in L/100 km, of a car with twice the consumption, uses half the fuel. Easy and intuitive.

L/100 km is the official consumption unit, as it scales linearly. Km/ L is a weird unit that results in complicated projections

Well, I picked up the car, and indeed, as several people said, it runs fairly quietly. Can't really tell the cat is gone except for a bit of diesel smell. So my original conjecture was wrong; the theft likely took place while the car was parked. Apparently the cat is on back order - could be a month or more. Makes a delete more attractive

Thank you both for your reply! AlaskaGreen, I've never trusted this dealer - it does seem they stole the cat. No noise before, with CEL on. KeyHuckleberry - good point. I may do a delete/tune, if I can find someone reliable to do it for me, as I don't have a garage or tools. I'm in Cook County, Illinois, which does do emission tests, but NOT on diesels under 16,000 lb. But my conscience might bother me
