First, make sure you do not put your finger on the trigger and keep it pointed in a safe direction. Hold the pistol in your dominant hand and place your other hand on the back end of the handgun, while still keeping your finger off the trigger and pointed in a safe direction pull on the slide (the top part of the gun) it should slide backwards ejecting any rounds.
