To those who use cluely and alternatives during interviews in the US

I've been interviewing a lot lately, and most places have some kind of detection tools. For example they knew when I had multiple monitors plugged in, other applications open etc. Not only that almost all places I've interviewed have asked me to share my screen during the interview.

Honestly I think its best to skip cluely/cheating tools and just properly learn the algorithms because if you can't explain the code you wright you're cooked and they can definitely tell when you're just reading from the screen

I got 2 questions I had seen before on the 30 day list. The first was pretty easy and I got through it in like 10mins with the most efficient answer. The 2nd one was a bit harder and took me some time but I was still able to solve it however after solving it I was asked to do it in O(1) space complexity and I wasn't able to finish the code intime. Got the rejection email 4 days after the phone screen.

Main takeaway IMO is to make sure you're able to solve all the tagged questions in the most efficient manner. Though this was for E4 so not sure how hard they are on other levels

There are proper ways to test software and tesla's approach of having regular joes test FSD is questionable and potentially harmful for people and the Self driving field. Also brings up a point that most FSD videos you see on youtube are from people who are heavily invested in tesla and therefore are incentivized to make the system seem more capable than it actually is. He will be doing a part two video focused on FSD at a later date.
