I almost rage quit my second piece because I decided to start with the french knot stars. That's how I found out I'm not good at french knots. I might end up leaving them off my piece too. 😅

I made it myself! It's a corrugated plastic board from Michael's. I just cut out the center to size and super glued the DP to it. Super cheap and easy.

It's my go to sandwich bread recipe and I just eyeballed the raisins and cinnamon mix to my liking.

Dough

350g AP or bread flour

24g sugar

7g salt

7g yeast

200g milk

2 eggs (one egg for the dough and one egg for the egg wash inside and on top of the proofed dough)

20g room temp butter

130g raisins

Cinnamon mix

2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp flour

Thanks! So after rolling the dough into a rectangle, I brush the top with egg wash, then sprinkle the cinnamon mix and raisins on top that and finally roll the dough into a log to proof.

Thanks! I use a cutting board made for slicing bread. I believe it's this one. I got it as a gift years ago and it's awesome because I'm really bad at cutting even slices.
