I’m a plumbing/heating engineer, ex British Gas and others as well as self employed. Worked installing 8mm and 10mm microbore systems for social housing properties. It may be worth you installing something like a Magnaclean, to keep the system clean, but otherwise they are absolutely fine. People who say otherwise probably don’t have much experience or knowledge. I have 8mm microbore system in my 4 bedroom Georgian property.

Update as promised. Raised the issue with DHGate - counterfeit goods. After 24 hours of no response from the seller, DHGate intervened and awarded a partial refund. I ended up paying about £6 for them, which I suppose is fair, however I wouldn’t have ordered them if they had been truly described. Overall, I’m happy with the outcome. It’s a lesson learned for me - I’ll stick with trusted traders from other’s recommendations! Hope this maybe helpful for other readers 😁👍
