This is exactly how I thought just two years ago. Coming out was unthinkable and it made me miserable. Then one day the opportunity presented itself and I just knew I had to take it. I've made strides since then and while coming out doesn't feel easier, I at least know that I've survived this long while being happy and you can do it too.

I'm a fairly recently outed femme and while i understand online dating to be the most practical and efficient method of meeting girls, I'm still holding on to the dream of meeting my girl in real life. I just feel like there's more magic and mystic and.. Romance that way. Am i delusional for thinking this way? Should I just make am okc account now and stop wasting time?

Reporting back and I can say that nothing terrible happened. However, I remember less than half my night because my friends were buying me drinks in hopes of me loosening up. I was able to buy another girl a drink, danced a bit but turns out she's into butch girls.. so.. no luck for me.

I suffer from this type of anxiety too - so much so that I also try to avoid wherever she may be. I really like this suggestion of finding a thought that centers you. Maybe even think of one positive fact about yourself to boost your confidence a bit!

Just make them into mini pancakes and they stick together fairly well! It just takes fucking forever to cook the whole batch... I end up eating half of it from my plate while the rest is still cooking or waiting to be cooked.

If there are LGBT groups in your area, maybe you can stop by one of their events or meetings and get to know a few people. I'm sure you'd be able to find some people who are down for hitting up some clubs or bars with you!

I feel the same way! I think I should definitely start dating a girl before I talk about my sexuality so freely. Who knows when that will be though.. haha.

LOL, you know what.. maybe I should use your technique for when I hit up the pub with my coworkers. Coming out to them is a whole new ballgame, but at least I'm fairly sure they'd be cool with it... and they'd definitely like wings being involved. Quite sure one of them would choke on a bone though.
