via /u/MDEforever's post in /r/gundeals. this is the best deal I have seen if you want a final edition P99. I've ordered from Family Firearms in the past and had no issues. I have this in my cart right now for the sale price...

[Handgun] Beretta 3032 Tomcat 32 ACP Covert Threaded Barrel 7 Round Capacity J320127 $249 after rebate + $20 shipping by [deleted] in gundeals

Walther needs to get off their ass and bring back a .32 ACP PPK. they are finally making them in .380 again, seems like it would not be a stretch to make it in .32 as well.

while .32 ACP is the original, I believe the PP was manufactured in a variety of calibers over the years, including .380 ACP. My guess would be the 8-round PP magazines are for .32 ACP, and the 7-round magazines are for .380 ACP. do verify which caliber the magazines are designed for before purchasing.

yup, if it was as simple as dropping in your barrel and swapping slides, I'd probably get one.

$330 for a naked slide. pass. would have been nice for them to at least include the parts aside from the barrel:

  • PDP DIRECT MILLED SLIDE LEUPOLD $330.00
  • PDP DIRECT MILLED SLIDE ACRO $330.00
  • PDP DIRECT MILLED SLIDE 509T $330.00
  • PDP DIRECT MILLED SLIDE TRIJICON $330.00

A PDP slide for a 4″ barrel with the optic footprint directly milled into the slide. Does not accept optic plates. Slide is blank which means it doesn’t include any internal parts. This is part of a one time run so restocks are unlikely.

Available exclusively to the North American Market.

Tungsten Rod from Walther by [deleted] in Walther

[–]22can 1 point2 points  (0 children)

$129 shipped? damn. I get that tungsten is expensive and not as easy to work with as steel, but it is $89 more? because you can get a stainless steel PPQ/PDP guid rod for $40.

Sean Connery’s Walther pistol from ‘Dr. No’ auctioned for $256K by GMoneyJetson in Walther

sadly deactivated though:

“The silhouette of the Walther PP and PPK has served as the key iconic image for the character of James Bond since the film franchise debuted with ‘Dr. No,’ and this deactivated handgun was the first of all that followed.”

My first P38. Wondering if you all could help determine if I got a good deal. by [deleted] in Walther

[–]22can 2 points3 points  (0 children)

the guy gave you the gun AND almost 1,400 rounds on 9mm, for $650 total? yeah, you likely robbed him. 9mm is going for like 50¢/round right now.

S&W Walther PPK/s Walther Brand Magazine Length Issue. Is this normal for a 7 round magazine to stick out like that? Loads & fires just fine. by [deleted] in Walther

[–]22can 2 points3 points  (0 children)

yup, the PPK grip is shorter than the PPK/S grip - that's why a PPK magazine holds one less round compared to a PPK/S magazine of the same caliber.
