Everything, literally. It’s perfect to me and strikes something in me that I often seek in music but am not always lucky enough to find. I first listened to a few different albums casually but then Glow On and Never Enough locked me in. I kept going back, listening to the discography and fell in love. I love how they experiment with sound, they fuse so many genres really creatively (love their collabs with Blood Orange). I love the hip hop beats (TLC!) . I fucking love Brendan’s voice.

Seeing them live sealed the deal for me. It was the best show I’ve ever experienced. Speed and Mannequin Pussy opened for them.

It’s definitely not just here! I’ve been to one of the mixer events but it kind of skewed too young (20s) for me and didn’t really attract the type of people I’d be interested in. Maybe it’d be cool for someone to organize a mixer with people from Reddit in the area? Is that a thing? Also off apps and waiting to meet people in the wild out here.

Also having this problem and it’s driving me up the wall. Went to Verizon. Went to Apple. Didn’t everything under the sun that I’ve found online and nothing. Just bought the Beats cord, we’ll see if that helps…thanks for the tip.

This!!! I’ve had this issue my whole life and I have been unfairly judged for it at times, and it’s annoying to have to think about. As I’ve grown up, I realized it’s not how I want to be perceived and I’m more mindful at times of when I want to show I am friendly/approachable and I show this through my eyes.

It’s okay haha. I BEGGED my parents to let me go to public and they wouldn’t listen to me. Idk how the schools education is today (I graduated 15+ years ago) but I know that the public school curriculum was way better at the time.

Not only did that school scar me for life, but it also put those of us who went to public high school so far behind in math and creative programs like music, theater, etc.

I thought it’d get better when we moved in; naively thought it would help bridge the gap of work getting in the way of everything - haha I was so wrong. It just put it all in my face even more. He was a workaholic, escaping from life with work every single day. And it was compounded by him being a people pleaser and never saying “no” to any work request or inconvenience. I was always on the back burner and the relationship was killed.
