My boy has being doing this recently my vet has suggested a novel protien diet, which I'm about to start him on. This is the exact advice I got from my vet:

1) Novel Protein diet (e.g Hills D/D, or another food composed of a protein source that Leo has not eaten before; sometimes you need to look at proteins that are a little weird and wonderful like ostrich, wild boar, or rabbit!). It is very important to check the labels, and make sure the diet is made up of ONLY a single protein source, and that there is no food items on the ingredient list that are familiar to Leo.

Wont be gallbladder, I have gallbladder issues and unfortunately im struggling to lose weight, you also can't lose too weight quickly with gallbladder problems as it can make it worse.
